Thank you all for your relies. I think there are a few underlying causes: hips are slightly tilted, knees face slightly inwards, very tight hamstrings and calf muscles and weak core muscles. I've never been able to swim for long (max 2 lengths) due to lower back pain from an injury over 10yrs ago but this week I finally managed 20 lengths!!! Massive grin on my face

I think most people are on this site as they've yoyo dieted many times in the past. OMFG!!! I just attempted D1L1 and.............OMFG!!! I did as much as I could but it was soooooo hard! I obviously have no upper body strength whatsoever, every time I lift my arms they judder! My goals for 2013 are: 1) to complete my own challenge of "run/walk 2013kms in 2013". It's a tough challenge as it's approx 3.5miles per day.
