  • I have done this too. weighed myself before and after. sometimes I lose 1kg. haha. one might say the saying "full of sshhyte" could be very true for some. haha.
  • oooh. the muffin tops come out now *L* I don't care myself. I wear granny panties. im a single mother a year off of 30 *L* no one to impress. I tried "thongs" (we call them g-strings in Australia, because thongs go on your feet (flip flops)) for a couple of years when I was about 19. I still have one or two, but I never…
  • I'll third that. hope you and / or your loved ones are all safe.
  • Imy size 22 (australian) jeans are baggy on me now so I am guess I will fit a size 20 comfortably. and I had some sports bras i bought online that didn't even go over my shoulders when I bought them. now I can get them on with a squeeze here and there. ha. i don't wear them just yet. but give me a few weeks ;) I am down…
  • I don't have PCOS, but, I am fat and hairy, apparently my genetics are just screwed up :( I have had testing and ultrasounds. I sometimes wish I had a reason for the hormonal hair and the like, but I guess I can't wish too hard. would be horrible to live with womb problems.
  • Believe me. If I could magically snap my fingers and be 80kgs or less I would do it Mary Poppins style. ha. RIght NOW. I am so impatient. It'll give me good character at the end. haha.
  • You'll be right ;) we'll help you through. We're all here for the same reason, to lose the healthy way :)
  • I am from South Australia. I have about 54kgs left to lose (I am aiming for 60kgs by my 30th birthday) Weightloss is so up and down. I have been going to the gym now for something like 13 weeks, watching what I eat and still only lose just under 1kg a week. I wanted to be down 20kgs by my 29th Birthday. but. doesn't look…
  • we're all guilty of typos. http://damnyouautocorrect.com/
  • My favourite saying. Punctuation Saves Lives! Let's eat Grandma. Let's eat, Grandma. do you want to eat Grandma, or do you want to eat with her?
  • Pobody's Nerfect ;)
  • What about different types of exercises? cycling instead of walking? not sure onthe impact on your feet. Each time I increase my speed on the treadmill my feet go to sleep, sometimes I get down in the dumps, and everyone gets sick, no matter how active they are. As long as you are eating a balanced diet, don't let the flu…
  • get a HRM that's the best way to log anything. ;) Otherwise, not sure what websites there are that may list this as a burn to work it out for your height and weight ><
  • I only use my exercise calories if I am hungry. If not. I forget about the. GENERALLY though. I am hungrier when I have burnt a lot of calories that day. I am set to about 1300cals a day, and burn anywhere from 400cals up a day. Today I burnt 700. I only have 100 left today :( whoops. I drank that alcoholic beverage and…
  • FINALLY! Here's hoping that Tropical Cyclone stays away! Welcome. From dry and hot South Australia ;)
  • AVOCADO HATERS UNITE! I can't stand them. beside the point. I don't count fresh fruit in my sugar. I just ignore it. I just try and cut back on as much added sugar as possible.
  • I get numb on the treadmill for a few sessions when I up my speed. I have started *trying* to do the c25k and it's been WEEKS since my feet went to sleep. they started again because of the new running movement. Mine goes with time. If it's an ongoing thing perhaps you have a pinched nerve somewhere? I used to get rand…
  • You're from South Australia! I don't have an eating disorder, but I am from the northern suburbs ;) Hi :)
  • I am South Australian. I have never had Nando's haha :( We have them here. I think. My grandmother used to make her own KFC. I do not try to copy fast food places generally. But. Maybe I will one day.
  • i'd slap the instructor for pointing it out. but. WOO i noticed after about 2 months of strength training that I could do that a lot easier, with just putting my leg back and grabbing it one handed. that being said. I am pretty flexible for my size (I can, if I would like to, chew my own toe nails). Maybe some yoga would…
  • Welcome from South Australia :)
  • I went to my doctor feeling light headed / dizzy / foggy headed / VERY tired. Clearly I am overweight. First thing he did was bloods. Iron. Thyroid. Cholesterol. and there were a couple of other things I don't remember / didn't know. At that point I was just hooking myself up in October to the join the local gym so he knew…
  • She sounds mad to me ;) you're losing, she will be happy with you regardless.
  • I don't really notice a difference. and I am at 21lbs down now. but I have over 100 to go still. I guess. my pants have a bigger gap. my shoulders are squarer. i have biceps that i can flex like HeMan. Little things that make me impressed. The cottage cheese belly isn't going to go down too well though , but. I guess I can…
  • you needed to remove spaces and /img and I went tot he full size image link and stole the url for tte picture from that one ;)
  • all the people who KNOW that I have been going to the gym have said they notice the difference. I know it's mainly a confidence boost and a "keep going" encouragement, but I have to learn to say thank you. I have noticed little things like. I just bought size 18-20 undies that fit. I usually go for the 22-24. my belly…
  • I don't even KNOW who I could aspire to be. The last photo i have where I was fit and active I was 9. and I always always "thick" So. I just don't know. haha. Maybe a long the line I will come across a hottie that's "thick" that I could aspire to. Until then. here's to finding what's below the layers. ha.
  • i have one. right calf. it's a reminder of my first pregnancy (i lost her). I plan to get another one to go with her, which will be her brother. I'm the firm belief that a tattoo isn't worth getting unless it really means something to you. but that might just be me.
  • you can never eat back all of them. nothing is accurate. it's all just a "round about" figure. I wouldn't stress about it. Just eat when you are hungry and to avoid the mythical "starvation mode".
  • as far as I understand. apparently you burn more AFTERwards. not just during. i was told the other day that weights / strength training actually burns for up to 72 hours after. cardio is for 24 hours after, and anything else is a shorter burn. that's how i understand it to be. :)
