As far as I know it's because when you work muscles, you get tiny tears in them, the tears heal back stronger and make muscles, don't give them time to heal, and you're going to do more damage than good.

I have only seen people log cleaning. not the sex or the grocery shopping. I always tend to log about 10 minutes LESS than the intentional exercise that I do. I have been up and down since joining, hence not losing any. I am considering joining the gym. but I wanted to get through 10kgs ON MY OWN. So I know I can do it. I moved furniture the other day and did not go for my walk, I didn't log the furniture moving. I don't see logging the every day things as a necessity. I think it would be counter-productive because I'd probably think I have that room to spare to eat more, when I shouldn't.

10lbs? 5kgs a week? that's completely insane and quite unhealthy.

you eat back what you burn when you would like to maintain. otherwise you eat less than, but always over 1200 calories, to avoid starvation mode. I have been reading a fair bit about it and everyone seems so confused about eating back calories.
