I read through this thread hopping one of the advocates for this diet would come back and report on how it's going, sadly not.
-
I think it was being used as an example not as if they were burning 600. Just easy math.
-
If it's the MyProtein meals that I have only ever seen in Iceland (UK store) then 1 meal (350g) has 47.3g (beef pasta). I'm going to assume they buy these somewhere else as Iceland only have 2 of the meals with pasta.

oh how I've missed the Freelee posts!
-
Hot a target at you, just my thoughts ;) How do people eat porridge with water - yuck. Porridge is made with milk and nothing else lol. Also never hear of using veg broth.
-
It only adds calories above what you said your activity level is, if you link a tracker or add exercise. Your starting number includes all your calories.
-
where did you get this strange idea from
-
I work nights and always work to the 24hr clock. Whatever I eat I log for the same day. I find it easier that way as I don't work every night. I also eat before going to bed as that way I don't wake up hungry and I sleep for longer.

oh to go back to the day when this board was anti Dr Fung
-
and this is different to MFP or any other weight loss idea why?
-
why are you on the cabbage soup diet? You really need to increase your calories.
-
If you did it in the past and now need to do it again then it is not a success. You should be aiming to keep the weight off.

£60-65k between the two of us. Renting not owning a property, no kids.

Most, if not all, deadlift platforms, I've seen are in front/connected to the power/squat racks.

Lets do this! 🌲December Challenge🌲 Highest weight: 203+/- Current weight: 197.2 Goal weight: 195-190 December weight lost so far:
-
your deficit comes from your TDEE not your BMR. On MFP is generally goal + exercise/increase in activity level.
-
Your food choices could not be tied to any one social class. I eat most of it.
-
Just don't buy any. We don't have trick or treaters coming to our flat thank god. My other half eats most of the chocolate that comes into our place from say Christmas or Easter. I just don't eat chocolate much so I just don't buy it, no kids either so no issue there.
-
I just eat a pizza , either 1/2 or a whole one to myself. It's not like I have it every night or even every week.
-
Not Dr Fung!!!
-
mine don't have any calories
-
It's 65 Kcal per 100g or 275 kj per 100g

I have a protein bar with me and usually only eat half. When I was working in a hospital I would get hungary during my shift, now working in a care home, I don't and the protein bar sees me through.
-
I only eat take out pizza and drink plenty of ale (larger is crap). I don't eat more when I drink though. OP does drink beer but it's only been logged once I think. It's not a focus of OPs no weight loss.
-
I've had no issues
-
are you syncing your tracker to mfp and seeing a number in the 'exercise' part of 'calories remaining' section (no idea what it is actually called) if so that is not just exercise but comes from an increase in your activity level compared to the level you selected at set up.
-
there are measuring cups in the UK also.
-
surely those calculations are based on 'at rest', more about and you will have a higher TDEE.
-
wow, some of the ideas I wouldn't go near. Plain baked potato, salad no dressing. In America, you can pretty much arrange your own meals, in the UK we don't really do substitutes in most places. I don't really worry about my meals when I go out as it's maybe once a month. My last meal was mushroom & goats cheese burger,…

It helps that a micropub is at the end of my walk ;)
