Here in Britain we are told that the recommended amount of calories for a woman is 2000 a day. If I was sedentary I'd put on weight, not that most people understand/know how much they are eating. I don't remember a health class in school.

All my co workers are on slimming world, cut everything 'bad' out, talk about 'syns' and how they can eat as much pasta/rice etc and complain if they lose nothing or only 1-2 lb a week. I gave up explaining anything to them.

Doesn't the knee pad fold down? ours does.

Sorry changing rooms
-
generally the UK uses kg or lbs now

I think most in the UK also have it cold.

Glad my gym as individual locker rooms. I have when people don't unrack after use so I can't use the equipment.

Anytime Fitness Pros: Can go anytime of the day. Cheap. Cons: Not big enough

Delivery can be £1-4 with a 2 hr time slot. For £5 a month with Asda you get as many deliveries at you want and all with 1 hr time slots. I never see a £25 min spend though only £40 It's more convenient to go to the local store than spend a few £ to travel to a cheaper supermarket.

I had to go back and make sure I'd read that one and I had ;)
-
I feel that it's more down to having to actually cook for themselves rather than price. £20 at the supermarket will go much further than £20 in fast food. I can't afford to buy food at work/uni everyday, I take my own in.

never understood getting sauce on the side, only eating half etc. I'd never order salad or soup not worth the money to me, I just make sure what I eat + drink fits in my calorie allowance
-
Same as 'alcohol free' isn't actually alcohol free
-
I think things like that come down to the 'suing culture' America has. Health warning have to go on anything

Mon + Tue (uni days) 19:00/20:00. Wed (half uni day) 17:00/18:00, unless it's a race night then it's 16:00. Rest of week if I'm not working it's 17:00/18:00. Days I work till 20:00, it's 21:00 + Days I work nights it 16:30/17:30. Eating out it's 19:30 ish.

OP could the weight difference be due to the fact that it's frozen?
-
I can't eat a salad without lot's of dressing. I don't have big salads though, never many items, just generally - lettuce/spinach, onion, mushroom, chicken/tuna/mackeral in sauce, dressing.

Uni days (MTW) I'm up at 5am to caught the 5:58 train. 7:20am ish I hit the gym till 8:15/8:30 then it's to class. Lunch break is usually 12:00-13:00 when I have my first thing to eat (unless I was really hungry after the gym). I then eat again once I'm home. Mondays it's either 17:30 or 18:30, Tuesdays it's 16:30 or…

There is a big difference between those who stick to 1200 calories regardless of exercise (planned or everyday movement) and those that stick to 1200 NET.
-
The concept of 'syns' and the fact people follow it.
-
it's been down for a few days now, this is stupid!
-
I'm not getting anything synced :( No food from mfp to fitbit, no calorie burns fitbit to mfp I've done the steps suggested - removing from both sides, re-adding.

wow care homes are nothing like that over here. Dietitan's aren't directly employed as far as I'm aware, there must be community ones via GPs though that check peoples swallowing for those having difficulties etc. All we have in the kitchens is a chef plus assistants and a list of what residents can & can't eat etc.
-
Now I'm confused about the job title 'dietary'. At first I thought you meant along the lines of dietitian but now it's more about restaurant work. I;d have thought 'dietary' was a fancy name was wait staff rather than the other way around. What do you mean by diploma? high school or college. Good look with college and you…

I tried WW once but would always go over on points. Zero point foods are a joke, I pretty much hate all fruit and everything is without sauce/dressing https://www.weightwatchers.com/us/sites/default/files/freestyle_zero_points_foods.pdf

Anything from my mother. Everything turns into an argument when I even try to suggest weight loss is about calories not what you eat. "oh no you can't eat that" - "if it fits into my calories I will"
-
In the UK it does as a joke.
-
I can easily burn 3000 calories on a work day.

I've learnt something new today...you need to season (whatever that is) a cast iron frying pan!
