Bear Creek is really close to my house so is more convenient than Katy for me. I walk Katy every once in a while, but Bear Creek is super convenient...hilly...but convenient. :)

Yep! I have tried to run several times, but I have an old ankle injury that swells up and then I can't even walk....so the doctor said "no running". That is ok. I am 5'2" and currently 180. I initially wanted to get down to 125, but now will be thrilled to hit 160. That is my "first" goal... unfortunately, my weight keeps going up... ugh. I have some work to do and a lifetime of being "overweight" to overcome. :)

Just signed up today. I am intrigued. I am reading all of the literature today (there is a lot of it) and then heading to the store tomorrow and doing food prep for my first week. We shall see!

Everyone has their own journey to health and fitness. That should be the end of the discussion, but some people just don't know when to stop talking. Ignore the haters and do what works for you. In the end, doing what works for you will make you prouder of your end results. ...a lesson I am still learning. Good luck!

Totally understand your thoughts. But, whenever I see someone running through my neighborhood, especially if they are struggling a bit, I think "you go!". I actually find it very motivating to see people trying to better themselves. It encourages me to get off of my hind end and move too. :) Just go for it! (and I will too)
