Feel free to add me. I workout every day, even if it is only ten minutes on "rest" days!

I did the two mile walk at home today for the first time. Before, I finished the one mile and had to stop. I am very excited to work my way up to the three and five mile walks :)

I am 28 and in college full time. I find it very useful to have pre-portioned snacks on hand in ziplock baggies. For example, I love goldfish crackers (but I don't know when to stop eating them) so I put fifty five of them in a ziplock bag, seal it, and label it "140 calorie" snack. If I take a little extra time…

I just ordered a Fitbit. Will that be more accurate to log calories? I am new to fitness technology.

How do you add her workout as exercise on MFP? Do you know how to gauge how many calories are burned during her workout?

Thanks so much for the responses! I am going to order one of her workouts on Amazon so I can get started today. It seems like a good supplement to my elliptical training. I have changed the settings many times and I need something a little more varied for my routines. If it can ease me into 30 day shred, it is another…

I have no experience with weights. How do I get started with them? Is there a beginners weight DVD that you would recommend? I would not know where to start with them or how heavy the weights need to be starting out, etc.

My Fit Foods just opened in Tulsa and I am in love! I work six days a week and go to school full time, so it is either fast food or lean cuisines in my diet. This is a great solution for getting the nutrients I need on the go. So far, I have tried the fruit and cottage cheese, the salmon and veggies dinner, the breakfast…

Did you set it to lose 2 pounds a week? If so, you might change it to lose one pound a week. That way, you can get more calories. You can always adjust the settings any time you like. Good luck! MFP started me off at 1200 calories! I quickly changed my settings to a pound a week and I frequently lose 1.5-2 pounds a week.

I didn't lose anything my second week either. There are some weeks that I do not lose and then the next week lose a few pounds. Hang in there. As long as you stick with it, you will see results! Good luck!

I just tried searching for similar photos with my height, weight, and size, and there were no matches! I am really starting to think that I am disproportionate!
-
It is just for fun because it seems that 5'5 and 5'6 are always left out of the ranges of height related posts. Didn't mean to offend taller or shorter women.
-
I am down for this :)
-
Oh man! I should have phrased it "over 5'4 and under 5'7". Are we good? LOL
-
We are increasing in numbers! Yay!
