I just got diagnosed with rotator cuff tendinitis and am starting PT soon. Meanwhile, my doctor said not to push it too hard but not to baby it, either, meaning continue to try to use it as much as possible but not to the point where it causes more damage. I'm looking forward to PT to strengthen the muscles around it and…

I just found this post and am so happy because late night snacking is my nemesis. I'm late to the game, but I had started on my own this Monday. So based on that: Me: 2 LNS: 0 My goal is no snacking after dinner if I've already reached my calorie goal for the day. Good luck everyone!

I work out at lunchtime. It doesn't give me a lot of time - 30 minutes with the other 30 minutes for travel & showering, etc. - but if it weren't for that I don't know what I would do. I'm a Type 1 diabetic so working out first thing in the morning when my blood sugar is low and I haven't eaten yet isn't a safe option…

My car is named Zippy because it's a 4 cylinder and can't get out of its own way.

I've been T1 for about 20 years now. Been on a Medtronic pump for about 10 of them. Feel free to add me! :)

I just turned 44 on July 2, so I've officially entered my mid-40's. Eek! Feel free to add me!

Yes, yes, yes!! I have the same issue and I HATE it! Once I get that initial crash, it is so difficult to re-stabilize and I find myself having huge swings before I can get back to center again. Then I end up feeling exhausted and weak from the swings. I don't have a good solution for it yet, but I can assure you you're…

I am about 1/4 of the way through a 100-day burpee challenge. I don't like doing them, but I think it does help with core strength and works a lot of the body at once.

I've finally found it...a post full of my people! I love my wine and generally have 1 or 2 glasses a night. I don't want or need any more than that, but it's a good way to relax and wind down at the end of the day.

First and foremost, congratulations on beating IBC! That is one scary beast, and you are a tough cookie for tackling it head on and winning. I had triple negative breast cancer so there are no maintenance drugs to help post-treatment. I tested positive for a BRCA2 genetic mutation, so I had an oopherectomy and have been…

Hi and welcome! Feel free to add me, too! It's been really helpful for me to have other T1 friends on here. :)

Hi! I am also a breast cancer survivor, diagnosed in 2006 at age 37. I also found out I'm BRCA2+, so we have lots in common! I have one daughter.

This with some variations - I use a heart of romaine, no red onion, fat free feta (about 1/4 cup), only a teaspoon of olive oil, and 1 teaspoon of salt: South Beach Diet Greek Salad: 8 leaves romaine lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces cucumber, peeled, seeded, and sliced tomato, chopped 1/2 cup sliced red onion 1/2 cup…

Back to RI30 today. I did my first day last week and felt so awful afterwards that I took a few days off and tried to do other things. Today felt MUCH better and I felt like I got more out of it. Now I'm looking forward to doing it again instead of being afraid of it!
-
Just did mine, too! I posted this in another thread as well, but it's a great workout and no joke! There's no question I'm going to be sore tomorrow...I can already feel it!

Day 1 done! And oh. my. goodness. I had been doing TurboFire for a while but stopped a couple months ago. I'm amazed at how quickly my body has gotten out of shape between then and now! I managed to wobble my way back to work, but I'm quite sure I'm not going to be able to get back out of my chair again. Burned 345 cals in…

I'm going home at lunch today to do my first RI30 workout. I'm too afraid to take my starting measurements since the past couple days have been no workout/lots of eating kinds of days. I'm excited to start and look forward to the next month! I'm planning on trying to get it in 5 days/week as a reasonable goal based on my…

Hi everyone! I love the idea of this group and am so happy to have been invited to join! I'm Stephanie and I live on the North Shore of Massachusetts. I'm 43, divorced but now living with my boyfriend, and I have one daughter who is 8. When I went through my divorce, I lost about 15-20 pounds from stress. Not the…

I just got my RI30 DVD in the mail today and am planning to start on Monday. I'm looking forward to it, and I'm so happy to join this group to help me hold myself responsible. Good luck, everyone!

Over the past few months I've fallen so far off the wagon it's come around and run over me. And then backed up and ran over me again. But I'm feeling like crap and my clothes aren't fitting so well anymore, so I've got to pull myself together and get going again. I ordered Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30, and when it arrives…

Great tips - thanks for taking the time to post them!

If you're doing anything you wouldn't do if your spouse/SO were standing right next to you, don't do it.
