I would highly recommend it. I weigh 135 and I am heading into a size 6. I started at a size 14-16. 10 years ago when I was this exact same weight, I was a size 12. I alternate P90X with running and swimming. I really like it and it is intense. It will really challenge you, but you will have to do a lot of modifying at the…

I replace the pullups with other exercises too. THere is only one DVD that has a ton of them in it, the rest really don't. Still have gotten great results

oh, and my diary is open and would love additional adds if you need support :-)

It really all depends on what your goals are. I am 5'3 and have finally learned some important lessons after 25 years of various diets. Don't pay attention to the scale, it isn't important at all. I am 135lbs right now and I go between a size 6 and 8. At this same weight 10 years ago I was a size 12. Heavy weights make all…

So, I never post on these, but I think a lot of people are missing the main point of why many individuals get offended by some of these types of posts. Your right, the celebreties don't likely care much about what is posted about them, and it goes with the territory. However, on this site, I get concerned when teenagers…

I also do P90X and much prefer the weights over the bands. I feel like they are a lot harder and you have to work to ensure you have a smooth form. Not to mention, as a female, I just feel more like a bad *kitten*, LOL ;-)

Have have been in the same situation. Get the book New Rules of Lifting for Women, it will be helpful for you regarding mindset and I started in that direction for awhile. However, I am now doing P90X and really like it. I don't like the resistance bands because those don't seem challenging enough for building, so I…

try grilled chicken with greek seasonings (a lot of oregano), with light feta cheese and tzatziki sauce on top. I add olives, tomato and onion. So good and different, and very high protein!

ironic you ask....we went to Trader Joes today and I was looking at them. Was wondering if they are good, it's always a toss up

absolutely!!

it isn't a diagnosis in the DSM (what psychologists use to diagnose), but that does not matter because it is a real diagnosable concern, as it would fall under the broader Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), as it would meet criteria for both obsessions and compulsions. It is less important what those specific obsessions…

your going to get the best results if you do intervals between the elliptical and weight training (or some type of resistance training).
-
Just take it as slow as you need to. I am not doing the program, but I am almost 40 and have never run a day in my life until this year. I created my own plan where I walked for about a month, then started intervals. I actually like intervals better than straight jogging, but let me tell you...running is totally addictive!…

it depends on your personality, for some people they have to steer clear and for others it is bettter to learn to have small amounts. The reason your getting different info is because people are different and you need to find out what works for you. I have handled it by having one spike day (Saturday) and it being off…

i cannot even tell you how much better you feel emotionally. I cannot believe I lose track of this feeling over time when I am sedatary, because it is sooooooooo worth it!

Going to log and stick with some healthy grilled protein and veggies, and maybe some extras like a beer and some dessert. Just need to get in a good long workout and it is all even :-)

I have been using my fitbit daily for 3 months and I like it a lot. It does a pretty good job with steps taken, stairs, and distance. It will not give anything about speed or heart rate. I wear mine daily and don't take it off unless I am charging it. It does not take the place of a HRM and I use one in addiiton for my…

It depends on how much you drink honestly. I love beer adn I usually drink one on Thurs., Friday and Saturday evenings. BUT only one and I enjoy the taste a lot rather than wanting to get really intoxicated. I work out more to offset it and I cut out other carbs on the days I drink beer. It has not slowed down my weight…
