Hi, I'm 25 and I am on a weight loss journey. I've lost 5 stone before, and gained the majority of it back, so I am back on track to lose it. I don't use PureGym but I go to the gym most days. I am also from the South of England rather than Manchester, but feel free to add me if you feel I meet your criteria. :) Anybody…

Also back due to health reasons - I'm on an elimination diet (due to suspected intolerance(s)), so it helps me to track what I eat. However, I gained almost all of my weight back (40 odd lbs to be precise). To be fair, I was going through a lot. But, no more excuses and getting myself back on track. Feel free to add me.

I'm a female at 5'6 and I eat 1800kcals and I still lose weight. As a male, you'd have no problem losing. As somebody else has suggested - add 100kcals every month or so until your weight is stationary!

^ Love your response! @OP - you need to think more positively!

You really do not have much to lose! I am the same as you. I am slap bang in the middle of the healthy range at 132lbs. You need to decide where you would feel comfortable and make a wise decision yourself!

I've heard that you're meant to eat like 250kcals more to keep up with breastfeeding! But, I am not a mother and it's just from things I have read over the forums. Maybe consult your nurse for more information to find out what is safe?

I am exactly the same. I am seeking counselling, so go see a professional. Maybe see a dietician so you can come up with a plan that helps you stay fuller for longer and do not feel the need to binge. I binge mainly when I am hungry, but I go over the top and go into a 'trance', and I just stuff my face. I used to have…

This ^. Plan, go shopping, fill those cupboards. Learn what fills you up.

Done! Sounds interesting, I'm quite excited for this!

I used to weigh in every Friday, first thing in the morning. Now, I weigh myself every day. It's become a bad habit, and I need to break away. However, I do only check my weight in on MFP every Friday.

I do not often sit and read every reply to a topic, however this one, I could relate to so well, and I read all the advice here. Thank you to everyone for the more helpful comments. OP - I binge for no reason too. I starved myself on about 300-500kcals a day for around 6 months. Then I put the weight back on. Then I turned…

I always have really bad sugar crashes and cravings around mid-afternoon which really affects my concentration at work. I have found that drinking a low-calorie hot chocolate does the trick with a piece of fruit. It tends to rid of all my cravings - especially for chocolate! If you still have cravings for chocolate, have…

You're recovering from anorexia! Do not worry about having to cut back for now. Just go out and enjoy yourself. Good luck. :flowerforyou:

You're losing inches - this is more accurate than the scales. So you ARE losing. Don't give up hope, just make sure you weigh your food and drink plenty of water. A month is not a very long time to see any sort of result. Good luck :flowerforyou:

I like having friends on here, but yes, I sometimes feel quite alone - when I'm far from that!

I've been told I were pregnant. I was in a corner shop in Hastings, UK and I wanted a packet of cigarettes. He asked me for ID, by saying 'I know you're pregnant, but I still need to check your ID because anybody can be pregnant these days!'. Firstly, why on earth would I be buying cigarettes if I were? My mum jumped in…

I agree with water weight, it's just getting used to how you are eating. However, I am exactly in the same position as you with the binging/purge/restrict cycle. If you want to add me, feel free. It'd be really nice to have somebody to talk to in terms of support. :drinker: What got me is that you love baking, which has…
