Didn’t know which one to chose as my after picture so I decided to make 2 comparison photos!

60 + lbs lost

I did a volunteer build day for Habitat for Humanity, so I had to compare todays picture with a picture from the last time I was rebuilding a home.

Thank you so much!

I’m with you as well. I feel like my personality has been the same throughout this whole process, but people use to just never give me the chance to get to know me because I wasn’t their idea of attractive. I feel like I’m being treated as if my presence is a lot more accepted and desired now that I lost weight.

It is crazy to me the amount of people who suddenly want to be my friend now after I lost 50 lbs when previously they would have never put in the effort to talk to me. I used to never get friend requests on Facebook, now I get them extremely frequently. It is a little disheartening, and it has been very obvious to me…

Dress shopping for upcoming events, and for the first time in MY LIFE I am actually excited about getting to wear a dress!! It’s a great feeling not having to worry about finding a dress I feel both confident and comfortable in. And to not have to worry about wearing a cardigan to cover my arms.

I don’t know why, but I’m so scared to share my before and after photo on social media where people who know me can see it, so I’m still just sharing on MyFitnessPal. I wish I could be confident enough to actually address the fact that I went through a 60lb weight loss to my friends and family, but I am also embarrassed to…

That losing weight has made me not only want to improve my body, but all other aspects of my life. I make sure my finger nails looks nice everyday now, when before I didn’t care about them. I learned how to do makeup that suits me better. I keep my room cleaner. I dress nicer. I finally got confidence to get a new job. I…

Today’s a special day for me so I needed to make a before and after picture. Today 4 years ago is the day I first started using mfp and the day I first started this journey. I lost 35 lb the first year, and then I fell off track for a couple years and gained some back. I’m human. But then this year I kicked it in gear and…

I started a new job about a month ago, so the people I work with do not know that I used to be heavier than I am now. Anyways, my NSV is that the president of my company picked out a shirt for all the ladies in the office as a Christmas gift, and she picked mine out in a size small. It’s hard for me to even see myself as a…

Dang girl you are incredible! you should be super proud of yourself!

My NSV is getting to wear my new winter jacket which I love, in a size SMALL. I have not been a size small coat for a very long time. That jacket I was wearing in my before picture from last winter is now too big on me so it was time for an upgrade. :)

You don’t even know how much it means to me to hear that! So kind of you to say, and I’m so thankful for this mfp community who have supported and motivated me through this journey.

Thank you so much ♥️♥️♥️

The first picture was from Easter this year, the second is from today. I was in a dark place last year, and I didn’t want to admit how out of control my life was becoming at the time. I love to see the person I’m becoming today on the right, but I also love the girl on the left who was depressed, unmotivated, and gaining…

50 lb weight loss, and still hoping to lose a bit more! :)

I got this text from a guy I like who I just saw for the first time in a couple months. I wish I could frame this screenshot and look at it anytime i need motivation. Hard work pays off!!!

Picked out a candy I don’t like to pass out to trick or treaters, so I’m not tempted by the remaining pieces.

I’ve lost almost exactly 50 lbs now, so I would like to think that I have found success in the things I have been doing. Holidays definitely are a difficult thing to navigate when you are trying to lose weight. Some of the things I do to try to minimize the holiday “diet damage” is to try to stay moving, and keep busy when…

No one told me how much tracking calories would become such a big part of my life. Before I never bothered to check how many calories/what nutrients were in my food, now its something i do regularly. I do it so much that when I see a tag on a pair of socks and I have an instinct to check the back to see how many calories…

Good one!! Lol ... it actually would be fitting to wear a bears sweatshirt because I “lost” weight, and the bears are losers too.

I’m not 100% that this is entirely a result of weightloss, but I’ve developed new appreciation for different flavors. I now love to add hot sauce and sriracha to my foods, when before I never liked anything spicy. I also appreciate other foods more now than I did before changing my lifestyle. I’m curious if anyone else has…

I lost 35 lbs a couple years ago and then gained a lot of it back, and now I’m down 42 lbs since my highest weight because I didn’t give into the weight gain and I started my journey again. I have a before picture from my highest weight and the other progress picture is from may of this year when I started losing weight a…

Kind of a weird NSV but today I finally decided to give my bitmoji a smaller build, since I made my bitmoji when I was heavier lmao.
-
Thanks that is definitely another one of my NSV's :)

I ordered a pair of size 2 jeans a week ago, and when I ordered them I said to my sister that I was spending $29 on hope. I haven't been a size 2 since maybe when I was in 10th grade. At my heaviest I got up to a size 10, to an occasional 12. I lost weight 2 years ago and got to a size 6 and 4, but slowly my weight crept…

There is no food I won't eat as long as it fits in my calories. I usually try to have a very healthy lunch including lots of veggies, but then for supper I eat whatever type of food my family is having. Removing all unhealthy or junk foods would never be sustainable for me because I am not going to make my family change…
