Mine's open, yours isn't - so why don't you tell me.

I've heard that bone and muscle loss can increase greatly as you age. Eat at a deficit, lift heavy.
-
First question you will always be asked - are you weighing your food?
-
I'm not a big fan of setting time limits on weight loss. Could you lose 20lbs in that time? Yes. Are you going to? Honestly, probably not. BUT, you have to start somewhere, no? If you lose 10 or 15lbs, isn't that better than where you are now?
-
There's nothing wrong with those changes is you are looking to improve your overall health (although, cutting coffee would put those around me in danger ;)) And, if those changes increase your calorie deficit, then fabulous! But, in the end, it's the calorie deficit that is going to make you lose fat.

No. Eat at maintenance, lift heavy, hit your protein macros, gain muscle, lose fat.
-
I would imagine it would still be a bit more accurate than getting a general consensus of posters here who have nothing more in common than their height. OP, there are a lot of different variables you would have to take into account, not the least of which would be your maintenance weight, age, and your activity level.

Katie Couric also promotes antivaxxers. Given that she's anti-science, this should surprise nobody.

Mine is to further reduce my air consumption when diving.

How is anything different from any item? It is absolutely true that you can eat anything you want and still lose weight. You just can't eat as much of it as you might want.

If it's a conversion issue - just out of curiosity - do you think she has 1226 grams (2.7lbs) to lose or 1226 kg (2703lbs)? ;)

Use this site's recipe builder, weigh each of the ingredients, and input the recipe. When done, weigh the final product (less the weight of the dish) - the number of grams is the number of servings you give the recipe. Then weigh your portion - the number of grams in your portion are the number of servings you are eating.

Female 5'6" TDEE - 1900 Eat - 1900 BF around 27% Work out 6 times a week (3x cardio, 3x compound lifts)

It depends on what you mean by 'toned'. If you mean, revealing muscle that you already have, eat at a deficit to lose fat and lift. If you mean losing fat while gaining muscle, that's a bit more problematic because those two goals work at cross purposes. If you are new to lifting, I would go with option 1 - eat at a…

What exercises are you currently doing?

I guess as long as you don't mind them saying no.

My only 'sensitivity' to Aspartame is to the aftertaste.

Weigh your ingredients pre-cooking, weigh the total dish when it's done, weigh your portion. The water will make no difference because it is taken into account in both the weight of the total dish and the weight of your portion.
-
Figuring out your TDEE is the hard part. I figured mine out mathematically by calculating my average daily deficit (lbs lost x 3500/#days) and adding that to my average daily calories consumed. That only works though if you are maintaining approx. the same level of exercise/activity that you had throughout your weight loss.

Laxatives tend to cause bloating.

So, she's using it to make the food in her stomach disappear. Guess what happens the next time she eats.

Hilarious! Her 'plenty of scientists and consumer organizations that back this message' link takes you to a page by 'Max'. His bio reads: Neither a scientist nor a consumer organization.

Yes because, apparently, that's the way you target butt fat. SMH.

Specifically training legs is not going to get rid of leg fat any more than training abs will get rid of belly fat. And women should train for whatever they please.

Mine is open to all because I excel at not giving a *kitten*.

I just started Stage 2 on Friday (workout A) and Sunday (workout B). Lots of lunges! My hip abductors and glutes are seriously sore today. I've modified some of the exercises already. I'm still light on deadlifts and have short arms so I'm doing regular DLs and my balance is crap so, while I can manage some rather…
