I just retired from 25 years of teaching junior high. YES teaching is exercise. My husband used to say - all you do is sit behind a desk. Obviously he hadn't been in a school in years. When you teach junior high, if you sit you are dead. You have to be up and walking or they will take advantage.

I have lost 40 pounds since January 20th, but I just found MFP. I don't usually eat as much as I am supposed to eat, but I do eat something every two hours to keep from going into starvation mode. Me, too. I am 57 and retired after teaching junior high for 25 years. Now it is time for me. In January I weighed 235. Today I weigh 206. I am proud of what I have done, but know I have a few more pounds to lose. I want to be under 200 by my birthday Aug. 11.

You can have a one ounce piece of dark chocolate every third day. I buy the Lintz chili chocolate. The chili is great with the chocolate and it stimulates your metabolism too.
