Ask him to make copies for you. You paid for them. Is there a time limit/expiration date so to speak? Can you stretch the sessions out so you can see how you do on your own?

I think it depends on the gym and clientele. At my gym, its very common for the women to walk around naked, in skivvies, or a towel while we get ready for work in the am. Most of us know each other because the 5:30 am crowd is a small one. It doesn't bother me what state of undress you are sporting as long as you aren't in…

When you started out with your trainer what were you goals? To lose weight or tole

I am consistently inconsistent on the boards! Always looking for friends who are the same :-). No pressure or guilt for disappearing and will happily celebrate your return..... if I am around.

Avid Fitbit user. Love it and feel lost without it on my wrist. It's so easy to check my goal status. It's been the motivator to make my steps even at 10 pm at night.

This is the perfect time to go to the gym! It's the beginning of the New Year's Resolution crowd. You will not be the only new one in the gym. Most of the staff will be more attentive to new patron needs and questions. Take a class that combines weights and cardio. You can take both into the weightroom. And if you have…

Can you send me a link for the fat walk? Is it a stroll or more along the lines of a 5k or possibly an Ironman? :D

I am so confused....if we exhale our fat into the atmosphere wouldn‘t it make it fat air? I would also like to know when all the fat free food is going to drop my body fat? ;-}

Protein shakes, bars, cheeses sticks, deli slices of turkey, imitation cab meat, tuna.

I love it! It keeps me sane and I sleep better.

I love my trainer! I told him up front I didn't need him for motivation but for variety. I see him 2x a month to get new routines, ask questions, and check my progress. He explains the excercise and which muscle it challenges. And my routines are never out of someones else's playbook. (My challenge is my diet and learning…

I find lots of motivation and distraction on Pinterest. Or you could grab one of your bags of flour and walk up and down the stairs and then put it back and do the stairs again to compare the difference. Think about the difference in the weight and what a positive difference it makes taking off one pound. BTW- love the…

I'm an afternoon "slumper". I leave work around 3:30 and then spend the next 4 hours driving my daughter to double soccer practice. There are have been many times BK screamed my name while waiting for practice to end. So I needed a bag of tricks I could stash at work which for the most part need to be non-perishable. Beef…

I am to go out on a limb, politically, and say you may indeed find several immature patrons at a university gym. I would check with the staff and find the least busiest time and start going then. You might start with just the treadmill to get a feel for the place but it's your health and you have every right to be there.…

I don't have any advice but I do have an opinion. Keep focused on the 5K- you will feel so good when you can say you completed your first 5k and that will add motivation to continue your weightloss goal. Happy running!

Awesome challenge - I will log my food as soon as I get home from the gym.

Breakfast is a challenge for me because I leave the house at 5:15, workout, shower and then drive to work so while I don't think meal replacements are the best way I am finding them a necessary evil. Usually, I will put protein powder in a water bottle and then mix it with water and then drink it after my workout but…

I was really feeling sluggish by the time I got to the gym this afternoon but I am committed to completing my c25k. I tacked on this routine after my 30 min "session" and I can honestly say I felt so much better after the combination of the jogging and the circuit. Just what I needed to get me through the evening...…

Planning and staying on the menu -- that's where I have trouble. I need something hot at lunch. I am looking for easy soup recipes. Love black bean soup! Personally, I think you can add bb to just about anything. Anyone have a great easy bb soup recipes?

I listen to Iheart radio on my Iphone and love it. Its a free app like Pandora. I can create stations and I find there is less repetition than Pandora.
