I started this year by having a ten day period. Just finished and three days later started again for another 7 days. *sigh* If I don't take agnus castus every day I can set the bed on fire I get that hot!! I've been having hot flushes since I was 35 (now nearly 45). Oh the joy! Unfortunately my mum is 77 and still suffers…

Everyone reacts differently to the different solutions on offer. I'm pescatarian and eat quite a lot of soya products but didn't see any change because of it. Friends of mine have seen an improvement in symptoms by just swapping their milk in the morning cereal to soya milk so it is hard to predict if you would find it…

I do my vegetarian dish and add meat on the side for my partner and his son. This works well for us.

It could be your cycle affecting your weight loss. I put on weight and then lose it again in a very repetitive way which directly matches my cycle. Don't worry about it, concentrate on your calorie intake and give it 4 weeks. If you are still not losing weight after 4 weeks review your calorie intake. Remember that eating…

Cow dairy doesn't help asthma either, it could be lactose intolerance (if the gluten free test doesn't help)

Oops, forgot to say.... Buckwheat pasta should be rinsed in warm water AFTER cooking to stop it turning into a sticky blob
-
I haven't got any at the moment to check the packet but I think I am right in saying don't cook in the microwave and only cook for about 6-8 minutes You can also get 100% buckwheat noodles (check the packet says 100%)

I'm not actually gluten intolerant but wheat intolerant, as well as msg and a number of other food stuffs. If I ingest wheat or msg it will depend on how much as to how bad the reaction is. At worst it is a 2 hour bout of gastro-enteritis (severe cramps, vomiting and the runs) followed by 3 days of reduced energy and…

All of the above..... Healthier Happier Slimmer (the first 17lb fell off me without me trying) Love the foods I eat Any extra pounds seem to come off reasonably easily No bloating No being sick for no apparent reason No vertigo (didn't know that was caused by the wheat!!) Fish Kerala. You can do it with fish, prawns or tofu (or a combination of those) on days when you don't want fish. It's to die for and I eat it all the time. The sauce is so good, if there is any left over I eat that over some rice  Full recipe available on request (haven't typed it out before, it's easy to cook)
-
I make a tofu, cashew and pine nut roast with vegetable gravy to go with the normal sides. Bliss!

There is also a vegan gluten free group on here you can join

I'm pescatarian, wheat free, cow dairy free, cruciderous vegetable free, msg free, peanut free..... Friend request sent

Try morning and afternoon snacks to help bump up the calories rather than adding to your regular meals
-
I'm not sure but most people seem to suggest about 500 over your normal calories (not your diet calories) is OK
-
Yes it gave me a very low count because I put in I wanted to lose 1lb a week which is 3500 calories less than my required calories for the week. My calories required for the day are 1700 so it set my goal as 1200!! Go to home, goals and you'll see what is set for you and you can amend your target there if you want to
-
No the calories are the same before and after
-
Eat them back, same rule as with the calories
-
I have one day a week when I ignore my calorie goal and eat whatever I want (I still record it). Makes being good on other days easy
-
Either have a cheat day where you ignore your calorie goal and eat your craving or try an alternative. Chocolate is my craving so I have alpro soya chocolate desserts (110 calories each) twice in a day and if I'm feeling bad I just eat what I want and ignore the calories goal for that day.
-
Definitely normal, my weight can change by 5lb!!
-
Can't see what you're eating to be able to work out why you are having a problem. Try nuts, peanut butter, almond butter, soya desserts, fruit.
-
Soya yoghurt or soya desserts, yummy and keep you feeling full
-
Welcome to being female Weight fluctuates with your cycle even when it appears to have stopped! Don't be down, just think you'll lose 5lb next week

Keep a food and drink diary (hopefully you are as you're on mfp!). Gas is normally created by your body in response to food it can't digest properly. You should be able to work out what food stuff is causing it by noting what you had when it started. Possible causes are :- soda drinks vinegar (including pickled items)…

I have a bowl of cornflakes every morning (fortified with iron) and that seems to have brought my iron count back to normal.
