  • I have the same 11am hunger pangs and usually resort to a 1/2 serving size of almonds, a hard boiled egg, or a low fat mozzarella stick. I find a protein filled snack will keep the hunger at bay. If I have a carb filled snack during this time it will not satisfy my hunger pain. Of course everyone is different but this is…
  • This is a fun post because I'm always wondering what others' measurements are for their weight and height. 5'8 weight 145 bust 35.5 waist 30 hips 37.5 The weight I have left to lose is in my mid section unfortunatly...ugh!
  • 1. Eggs 2. Greek Yogurt 3. Sprouted Wheat Bread 4. Fruit (blueberries are my fav right now) 5. Almond Milk
  • This morning I had a slice of sprouted wheat toast with laughing cow light french onion cheese wedge, 1 tomatoe sliced on top with 3 mint leaves and a cup of coffee with almond milk and stevia sweetner. Total calories are under 200. Other ideas: -1 Egg, 1 slice of whole wheat toast, a 1 cup of strawberries and coffee (this…
  • CONGRATS!!! It's so wonderful when we reach our goals, and such a great idea to have "mini goals". I do the same and it keeps me motivated. GREAT JOB!!
  • Eat 1/2 with a cup of tea or whatever you like to drink. You get the cookie craving out of the way but don't consume as much calories!
  • I lost about 7 pounds the first month, i am now two weeks into my second month and lost an additional 3. I am down to my last 13 pounds to lose. I would imagine that people that have more to lose, lose more the first month then I did.
  • There could be a number of reasons. Please don't give up! I do think your calorie intake is pretty high, can't be totally certain of this since I am not certified in fitness. I started on MFP at 163 pounds and was set to "lightly active" lifestyle and my calorie allowance was 1480. (losing 1 pound a week) I do notice since…
  • I chose my goal weight of 140 because it was my "prepregnancy" weight before giving birth to my last and 2nd child. I also took my age into consideration and felt this was a "realistic" weight for me. I'm 5'8 so weighing 140 would allow me to fit in size 6/8 and I think that will be good. I think it's really what you feel…
  • Thanks so much for putting this together! Just added some of my measurements then realized that i put them in inches instead of cm. I will change them tomorrow as well as add the rest of the measurements!! So excited and motivated for this!! This was a great idea, thanks again!
  • I'm also 5'8 and my goal weight is 140. SW: 164 CW: 154 GW: 140 Most of my weight is in my gut so I feel I need to go down to 140 for my belly to look somewhat normal. I'm a size 8-10 now and at 140 I should be more of a 6-8.
  • Hi There, I would love to participate! I just purchased the shred it with weights video and should be receiving it by May 1st so this is perfect! Count me in! I could use the group support!
  • Hi there! Welcome! I'm sorta a newby myself, joining MFP in January but really not getting on track until a little over a month ago! Good Luck and again Welcome!
  • I weigh myself almost everyday. This has helped me to see my weight fluctuations, especially at certain times of the month. Prior to doing this I have not had success losing weight because I would see a "gain" and not quite know where it came from and get discouraged. I don't record my weight everyday on MFP but I do…
  • What triggered it for me was the owner of the local fitness center had emailed me a "diet plan". It basically broke the day down into three meals and three snacks. This was how I was introduced to "ezekial bread" which is part of my staple now. I went to the local "trader joe's" and just stocked up on healthy meal options.…
