  • Yep, welcome to the group! I Live in Tennessee, been riding about 45 years myself. Maybe there is a little dirt somewhere still older than me.
  • Not too bad around here in Tn, I've been riding to work for the past several days.
  • Welcome aboard to all new folks as well!
  • Guess I'll not complain about our -1 temps here in Tn this morning. In the 50's by Saturday, so we're not in total lockdown. Roads will be sandy, but I'll get bikes out for a short ride at least.
  • Most my riding is on a 2011 Ducati MultiSrada 1200s. Also in the herd is a '09 Suzuki DR650, '73 850 Norton Commando, and a '73 Bultaco Pursang.
  • "i squeezed in a ride on new year's day " Riding on New years Day? Just trying to make me mad? Got up to -3 degrees this morning, here in the sunny south east.
  • Not as much shy as I'm just a lousy picture taker! But here ya go..... Morning on the Skyway in NC... Somewhere out of road in Illinois.
  • People who got the V Strom's do luv 'em. One of my friends is on his second one. Your Duc will be fine, but that won't stop the lust for something else!
  • Nice pic, nice bike! Welcome!
  • I've ridden 3 of their 10. The Skyway is a really nice ride, I really like 28 as well, and have also been on the Snake. Warwoman Rd. off of 28 is also pretty good if you like the twisty stuff.
  • "dsl01, I used to live near West Virginia and it is such beautiful country there. Glad you got to see it! What sights did you see?" We met up and stayed in Matewan, WV. Certianly in the middle of nowhere, but we ran some roads and saw scenery all through the hills and hollows around there that was just awesome. We're goin'…
  • I took a few short trips around the Southeast, but a hand surgery and a slow recovery process kept the bike parked for several weeks. I did, last weekend, take a couple days and meet some friends in West Virginia and did some riding there. We found some really nice roads to ride, great scenery, and enjoyed looking into and…
  • I agree, My last inline bike was a ZX6, and that was quite a while ago. I've been on twins every since both on the street and for trackdays.
  • Cool. I'll check it out.
  • I'll be at get together this weekend in SC, I'll post a pic from top of the Cherohala Skyway.
  • Nice project list. Haven't seen a plunger frame in a long time. Should make a nice ride.
  • I should not have posted this . The day after, I injured my back(again). Like to say I did it doing something wild and crazy, but, nope, did it playing baseball with the grandsons. Basically out of commission for 2 weeks so far, no exercise, no gym, no riding ,No NOTHING but hobbling to work and back home. I know how to…
  • Can"t add much to this. My current ride is an EFI bike, have had a couple others, no problems.
  • Oh, man, good plan. I'm going to Walhalla in May for a bike thing. I'll go over the Skyway then basically do the same route. Gotta add Warwoman Rd, though. Have fun, be careful.
  • Nice area for a weeks ride! Take 28 from the Deals Gap Store into Franklin one day, run the Skyway into Tellico another, and maybe even get to ride the Gap without crazy traffic. You might just wear out a set of tires, JM .
  • Welcome . Nice Sporty! Sounds familiar. 43 years riding myself, tried racing(crashed out, little damage to me, big damage to bike, so ended that experience) did trackdays for years until got too chunky. Good luck!
  • I've got a back that I have to be careful with (couple surgeries, lots of other therapies over the years) so basically weight control and core strength is my focus. Probable should step up on on legs some.
  • I think we're there.:glasses: High 60's today, Sun and 70 + well into next week. All right, Where's my helmet?!

  • Yeah, I am hopelessly addicted. I looked for a Gran Canyon forever that was decent, and then found this one here in town.
