I sometimes splurge and eat something with a higher caloric and fat value, but I don't feel guilty about it. I eat in moderation now. Over eating, and eating a lot of fast food and 'convenient' types of foods was my problem. I still want to enjoy the food I consume and I do. IN MODERATION!

I do my best to log everything i eat. It helps me keep track of things. If I am not seeing the changes I think I should be seeing, I'll go and check my food diary.

There are a lot of great suggestions on this thread! I believe that you should exfoliate your skin regularly and use moisturizer EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. All over the body. And obviously, hydrate well daily. I bet you will notice your skin firming up a bit with your lifting soon.

1.25 cup of Rice Krispy cereal with 1/2 c skim milk + 3 packets of splenda 1 bottle of water with Walmart fruit punch packet in it. It was good!

I also hear that the Zumba 2 was better. That is the option I am considering. I have the space, and a wii that isn't being used! I would love to be able to go to a live class with others, but realistically, it just isn't possible. My life is way to busy, and I am being honest with myself. I would be much more successful…

I don't have an HRM, but I recently posted about Zumba and noone responded, so I though I would ask here . . . . Do you do a Zumba class? or the Zumba on wii? Or DVD's? I personally think I would like Zumba, but want to know if the Wii version is good or not. I don't have time to drive to a gym on a regular basis for class.

This situation is possible with any food you do not prepare yourself. From anywhere, at anytime . . . It's no different than the rodent droppings that are left on the cans of soda when they sit in a wharehouse waiting to be shipped out. Same thing - pick your poison. I'd take a McD's Diet coke anyday!!!!

I think this varies from person to person and what your MFP goals are. I believe that some people use MFP to help them be accountable, and keep good records of anything and everything. Artificial sweetener, just like most everything else in life, effect people differently. I personally have no problems associated with them. I use them with no issues or regret.

What protein powder do you use that is unflavored? I bought the stuff from Walmart, because a coach at work suggested it. I think I would really like it with milk. I will have to give it a try, and frozen fruit sounds yummy too. Great suggestions - Thank you all!!!!

I enjoy potatoes tremendously. I agree that I refuse to not eat my favorite foods. What I do is repare them in a healthier fashion. I have found that I really do enjoy red potatoes.Some spray butter, and seasoning - baked to perfection! If you want some potatoes, eat them. Just remember portion control! :)
