I've tried both and the Wii Active is much better if you want to get a good workout. The wii fit is more just playing around with a few movements but not enough in my opinion to really do much for you in terms of exercise. Do you take roughly these same amounts of steps on a typical day? If so, then I would not add them to your exercise. It is just apart of your daily routine and those calories are already taken into account (MFP asks if you're sedentary, lighlty active etc.) when MFP decides how many calories you should be eating.
