I am currently a 14 and heading down. :) You can do it!

I actually quite like them, particularly stir fried or in Asian style soups. Here are a couple other recipes that turned out pretty well: Pasta Carbonara http://www.hungry-girl.com/newsletters/raw/1441 Thai Curried http://www.mygarlicloveaffair.com/2010/04/shirataki-curry-noodles.html Pumpkin Fettucine…

What an inspiration! You look absolutely amazing!

My GP told me earlier this year that many nutritionists and/or doctors are less inclined to believe that an overweight individual is exercising as much as they claim and therefore offer a target calorie intake goal for someone less active. To give them the benefit of the doubt, I am sure that for a certain segment of the…

I enjoyed being an only child but then again, my parents constantly had me involved in activities where I was with lots of other kids. This went beyond the normal sports and after school programs. For a few years there I felt absolutely inundated by other kids. LOL! I was thrilled for the quiet solitude of having no…

Toasted chickpeas are amazing and so very easy to make.

Size 10 without a muffin top. I am currently sitting at a 14 with a few 12's tossed in there.

That is absolutely fantastic! Congratulations!

Fantastic! Way to go!

My favorite are my Thorlo Experias. They are worth their weight in gold.

I have to closely monitor my sodium intake for medical reasons. Here are a few of my favorite snacks: Greek yogurt + berries Greek yogurt + honey + granola Raw nuts Sodium Free Bread + Raw Almond Butter (Trader Joe's has both and I live off them) Fresh Vegetables with Greek Yogurt Dip or Homemade Hummus Dried Fruit Hard…

Like many have already said, I avoided the diet foods and I started shopping the perimeter of the store: fresh vegetables, fruits, raw nuts, dairy, etc. I seek out minimally processed items and do things like soak my own beans instead of buying canned. I personally love yogurt with fruit, so I swapped out the non-fat fruit…

When I first started running a year ago I was burning around 200 calories per mile using a heart rate monitor calibrated to me. After a few months, it was down to 175, then to 150 after six month. Recently the calorie burn just dropped to 120 per mile. This is regardless of pace, btw which always makes me laugh. I believe…

I would definitely go with the whole egg. It's great protein, it's good for us and unless you are separating your own eggs, far less processed than pre-packaged egg whites.

I made the peanut butter chocolate shake this morning for breakfast. I swapped out cottage cheese for Greek yogurt and the water for Milk. 45g of protein, 400 calories but so very, very delicious and filling. Milkshake for breakfast? Absolutely!

There were these Girl Scout Cookies... Now there are none.

My FAVORITE! I am a DD but bought the C bra for extra support. Fits amazing, very comfortable and the girls never move. NEVER.

Bump. YUM!

Just relax and enjoy a reasonable portion and move on. Your friends work hard to put together dinners for large groups. Enjoy their hard work and offer to help out. One meal is not a deal breaker for weight loss. And like so many people said: eat something before you go so you aren't ravenous AND put in a good workout to…

Just skate and enjoy! Who cares what other people think if you like it, get a great work out and have fun doing it?

Eat it, love it, live it.

A little late getting started but here goes. 9 miles yesterday.

When I was at 1,200 calories a day, I ate about 50% of exercise calories back. I lost 80 lbs over 6 months. Now I target 1,800-2,000 calories a day regardless of work out and don't worry about eating the calories back. I am still losing consistently, though more slowly but that is by choice since I am eating to support the…

Not every day but several days a week, yes - though instead of just black beans I eat a variety of different types of beans and lentils. But all of the above are favorite foods, most are pretty versatile and they work for me so I eat them frequently.

Fantastic job! Congratulations!

I love my FT40. Works great and never lets me down!

I also use the Moving Comfort Maia and absolutely love it. There is no movement, no bouncing and no adjusting. It also holds up great wash after wash. Neither of mine have stretched out or lost their power and trust me, they are getting used A LOT. They are well worth the money.

Congratulations though on having more good days than bad days this week!
