Ok, this is probably going to sound very cynical. First...are you sure that you are in a relationship that allows for jealousy? Ten dates with a month off? How can you be sure he did not have sex with someone else during that time? And did you discuss that this relationship would be exclusive? If not, then in his mind it…

I am furious with your doctor!!!! I am 54 years old and weigh 232 pounds and am 5'2". Every pound that is dropped helps your body. I lost 40 pounds from my weight high point and am no longer having issues with sleep apnea. Every single pound helps! And you can lose your weight without surgery! So many people have proved it…

No! It does not! Today you slipped. Tomorrow does not have to be the same! I have been a binge eater. I have been a splurge and purge. But, I will not allow food to control me. There are moments, hours and sometimes days that I do poorly, but, I can't allow these times to control me. They do not define me! Don't beat…

Many prayers for your father, you and your family and the family of the donor. May the donor be safely in heaven and that it is many, many years before your father meets him/her and can give his thanks personally. Please let us know.

Off subject, but can anyone tell me how to get my ticker to show when I post to a topic?

The Quiche Muffins are fantastic. I use shredded low-fat cheeses, changing up which ones with the mood I am in. I also have used Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage Crumbles. They are already cooked so easy, easy, easy. Occassionally, I throw in whatever left-over vegies I made from the night before...broccoli, green onion, sweet…

You have been added to my mental list of those who have inspired me. Thank you. Great job!

Hooray! What a huge success! I am hoping to run a mile sometime in the future. I have quite aways to go, but, stories like yours inspire me to work towards that goal. Today, you are my hero!

Welcome to our journey! MFP has so helped me. The calorie counter, the support and the posts. So many ideas. So much encouragement! Your honesty is so great. One of the great things at MFP is that everyone understands the blunders, splurges and disappointments. You don't have to feel quilt or embarrassment. Instead they…

This is a great place to start! I am fairly new here and have been amazed at how positive and caring people have been. It has helped me to read the posts. Some have been simply entertaining. Others have amazed me. Some have made me want to cry. And others have made me laugh outloud. I am 54 years old and a diabetic. So…

I am with you on the commodities/stock thing!!! How the heck did the whole world get into this???

I love beading jewelry using little tiny tiny beads. I give horseback riding lessons to a mentally and physically challenged child. My Nook is my new best friend. My cat, Princess (by the way I did NOT name her this) I adopted from a no-kill shelter. She had been there for nine months without willingly allowing anyone to…

Well....my goal was to lose 5 lbs. instead I lost 10!!! Whoo Whoo!!! Another goal was to reduce my eating processed food. Have done fairly well. Eating a more "diabetic friendly" diet. Yep... Started aerobics...starting carefully due to injured leg...but, doing it and enjoying it vastly. For February? The same again... 5…
