  • I'm another insanity starter today. I've been training for an event in April for 2 years. The intensity of the fit test was epic! Really looking to control my eating and lose 5-7 kg over the 60 days. Any support through MFP would be great! Good luck insaniacs!
  • Shin splints can be easy to deal with. First things first are your shoes still cushioning you?   • Just use running and the right pace, there might be a few % different for big hills etc, but I find on runs between 10 and 40km MFP is pretty accurate by pace if I check it against heart rate.
  • There is no simple answer to this. Building muscle will help you burn fat. Think of muscle as an engine. The bigger the engine the more fuel it needs.
