  • Oh, it shows up for me in my exercise list...but i can't remember if i just looked it up online and input it in....but i could've sworn it was in there...
  • agreed, zumba is a great workout. I bought the DVD set and have also been to the classes. Personally, i found the classes more vigorous and motivating than the DVDs. I think it works because for most people, it's fun to do so it's easier to stick with. It definitely gets your heart rate up and gets you moving and sweating.
  • If you're trying to stay away from red meat, you can also have pork; it's the other white meat. I'm a big fan of pork loin with an apple chutney. But chicken is definitely very versatile and easy to put in lots of different kinds of dishes. Sometimes i'll do a marinade with soy sauce, honey, a touch of sesame oil and…

  • I agree with jannspizziri. I've "dieted" in the past without diligently counting my calories in and calories burned and sort of guess-timating how many calories my meals were. I was wondering why this morning I gained 1.5 lbs, when yesterday I wasn't able to eat my calorie deficit and had almost a 2000+ deficit for the day. I…
  • I think earlier in the thread someone recommended this link: http://body-improvements.com/resources/eat/ It was a really long read, but I actually learned a lot from it and have tried to apply it. I thought I was plateauing, but after I wrote up my post I lost another 3 lbs just continuing to eat about 1200 cals/day more…
  • I have a similar situation to the original poster. I have been eating healthy and exercising 3x week for the past month. I have lost 6lbs total and do feel a bit healthier, but I've plateau'd for the past 1-2 weeks. I realize I might be asking an obvious question, but I just want to make sure I understand: If I eat 1200…
