Thank you guys! Yesterday was a better day (got in over my BMR by just a tad). I still do feel energized enough to workout- maybe later day vs tomorrow. I went into panic mode thinking... oh no... this low calorie input is going to mess with my progress again! thanks again

Awesome! You go girl! As an aside... yes, the measuring thing got me. ...and all the hidden calories in condiments I wasn't logging before. We can do this! Dancing of course!

Congrats! Keep up the great work.

I'm still new at this. I just finished my 8 week reset and am on week one of cutting. I LOVE the fact that I'm looking forward to working out for ME! ... and not just to earn back "activity points." As a former low carber- I'm enjoying a variety of foods but in moderation. I love the fact that I can eat more than 1300…

Great job!

I'm on week 7 & I know how you feel. I have days where I feel bloated (especially if I'm over my TDEE by a bit) & then if I eat clean (& at TDEE)- I feel so much better the following days. Out of curiosity- what made you pursue 16 weeks & not 8?

Very inspiring! Congrats!

Can't wait to watch your progress. I'm just 2.5/3 weeks in & have felt many of these feelings!

YEAH! Amen to that! VERY similar story here as well. I'm 3 weeks in to my reset. Yes, I'm up about 3-5#. I am enjoying this journey & despite feeling a little bit bloated... I know that I'm in control of things and that I know I will start to cut mid-October. I am looking forward to the Holidays (prior to- dreaded them…

Thank you for your input. So, just to clairfy... with the TDEE Halbales spreadsheet accounting for my present activity... I want to shoot to consume around 2500 for the next 6-8 weeks? What happens if I can't get to the gym? Or on the weekends? With scooby's worksheet, calculated my TDEE 2112 with no activity? (which makes…

Thanks for the advice!

I'm here too & welcome to having new friends having success at this (or attempting) :) Copied from a post I just listed today.... My story started over 10 years ago topping the scale at 313#. I started my success with WW but fast forward to getting married & having 2 kids (with gaining 90+ pounds with the combined…

Congrats! We need more dedicated nurses in our profession! Out of curiosity- what did you set your MFP goals at? What was your caloric intake when you started? Do you exercise- if so... did you eat your exercise calories back? Again congrats & welcome to the profession! :)

Great job! You look unbelieveable!

For the past 2 months- my average: Carbs: 28% Protein: 30% Fats: 42%

I do weigh all food & measure out everything that goes into my mouth (including condiments). All with the exception of a 4 day cruise we took. But even on the cruise, I made what I considered healthy decisions & went to the gym while I was on the ship & climbed the stairs instead of taking the elevator. Just 3 weeks ago I…

I'm not saying that your initial post lead me to figuring out my TDEE. I get what you're saying as far as calculating a targic caloric intake based on average daily intake by looking at your MFP history. I enjoyed the discussion by all with calculating daily goals. As far as "starvation mode"... if I am consuming 1700ish…

Thank you so much for all the wonderful information. I am in starvation mode as well & no wonder I've been sitting at this frickin' plateau forever! MFP had my caloric needs at 1772 to lose a pound a week (current weight 225). I work out 3 days/week with cardio (40+ high intensity) & 2 days of weight training (HITT) and…
