Thanks for the response. I don't have the bullet proof coffee as coffee for me acts as a cross reactor to the gluten. It gives me the same reaction as if I had eaten gluten so I just dont have it.

Well I have not read this whole thread but just wanted to say that for me the general idea of clean eating is to eat whole foods as opposed to packaged boxed foods. Processed to me means convenience foods. Frozen things in a box, frozen pizza, chicken nuggets, french fries, etc. Soups in a can. If you are going to eat…

I had that and was reacting to all foods, even healthy whole foods. I ate apples, salads and plain chicken for months...I cut out dairy, wheat, gluten, soy and eggs. I took a supplement from RenewLife called Intestinew capsules for about 5 months and a digestive supplement before dinner. Five months later i could add foods…

I use coconut milk in my homemade cream soups in place of cow milk or cream. Not the coconut milk in the rectangle containers like the almond milk. The thick, creamy kind in the cans. Use vegetable broth in place of chicken broth in soups and stir fry. VH1 soy sauce is now gluten free. Vega protein plus greens protein…

Congrats on your loss!! You should be proud of yourself! And I agree, your pics are not burning our eyes!! Your photos give me inspiration. I am 5"1 and started at 210 and will take pics at every 30 lb interval. I am almost there. A few more weeks or so to go and I MIGHT post pics. Your pics give me hope, cause we probably…

I can't have spaghetti anymore. You probably have food intolerance(s) If I have some things by themselves it's not too bad, but put them together and it's a whole different story. I am intolerant to gluten and dairy and soy. If I have something with a minuscule amount of dairy egg or soy, I am ok if it's by itself. But two…

I really don't know if I have any real food allergies as my allergist refuses to test me saying I just have auto-immune chronic urticaria. I have had hives for 7 months straight. Except for about two weeks when I went off all dairy wheat/gluten, soy and eggs. I do still eat one brand of salad dressing that has a slight…

Please be careful of the oats. I was so excited when I learned of GF oats. I bought a huge bag and made an awesome smoothie with oats in it. I also made some overnight oats that were wonderful, but alas came down with hives from those too. I am free of dairy, soy, wheat, gluten, and eggs. But additionally I have found that…

How did your doctor determine that you have leaky gut? I am wondering if this is my problem as I seem to react to a lot of foods. Also what is the difference between an IGG bloodtest an an Ige bloodtest? I was seeing a naturopath and had to quit it as I have no insurance benefits. I am in Canada and I don't think there is…

I agree with this movie, in the sense that it worked for these two guys! They did this to reboot their systems from the inside out because mainly they were suffering from chronic uticaria. I am suffering from the same thing right now for the past 7 months, I have gone about 2 weeks without hives. The rest of the time I am…

You look awesome! Congrats on a great job! You inspire me because I started years ago at about the same weight. And here I am back years later, starting again. Luckily, I was the same weight as when I left, so that is hope for me. But it gives me hope to see what I can look like soon!! Thanks for the inspiration :)

that is great! you look awesome :) that sucks about your guy friends though! I guess you really do learn who your real friends are when you are going through bad times AND good it would seem! Congrats on a job well done!

I found that I am intolerant to wheat/gluten but when I would have that together with dairy then I would suffer horrible pains, cramps and nausea and heartburn. Since cutting out both PLUS other things, I find I can have some cheese, say on a burger, ONLY if I do not have gluten with it. If I combine the two it is painful!…

That sounds like a good place to start. I lasted only four days off potatoes before I fell off the wagon. I am concentrating on a lot of veggies and meat and some fruit but not a lot. After the allergist appointment I took an x large dose of antihistamine and seem to be fine now with the lemon juice. It is a real trick I…

Thanks for the info. RIght now I guess my main focus is finding foods that I CAN eat successfully without breaking out into hives or having my face swell up. All I had today was a salad with some olive oil and lemon on it for dressing. Spring Mix with chicken on it and dressing and my lip swelled again. I had some lemon in…

Thanks for all the info about the nuts/butters. I will avoid them. Good thing I didn't stock up on them at the healthfood store. I am however bummed that I cannot eat my two packs of crunchmaster gluten free crackers made from nuts and seeds. :( I will donate them to my boss. I am finding I need a high alkalyne diet to…

Thank you for the info, I will probably get that book. It sounds like it has the info I need.

Those are all the foods I have yet to eliminate....plus there are some other foods that are shown to aggravate hives which I have to be careful of. So onto eliminating potatoes, nightshade veggies and seeds and nuts (Which I was eating a lot of before) I know eliminating seeds and nuts but can I have nut butter such as…

So when you say you cut sugar, do u mean processed or refined sugar or ALL sugar. I mean, I currently have some fruit in my day as it is one of the only things I can have for breakfast. I would be interested to hear more. Thank you. I currently am having an outbreak so bad my whole face body is spotted my lips, face and…
