It seems everyone says eat more to lose more, and always try to hit your numbers. Its a concept I just cant grasp... yet... Im always at a deficit - and get the "warning" from mfp a couple times a week. But the weight is coming off more slowly than I'd like. Again, in concept, if I eat more, I might lose more. Thanks for the info! I have been running a deficit in effort to lose weight. Maybe need to increase a bit? And I didn't even think about it, but maybe it IS time to get off the machines and on to the real weights. Will check out the programs you mentioned. Thanks again.

I don't think so - I always eat about a half hour before I work out. Some days its oatmeal - other days its a banana. I will have to see if its a difference on which one I have.

I was just wondering about this myself. One night a week, I go out. I drink Bacardi & Diet Coke - zero fat, zero carb, zero sugar, zero sodium, zero protein - basically just 100 empty calories per. So if I fit it well into my numbers - does the fact that its alcohol still have a negative effect?

You think a 3 lb difference is frustrating..? Try this.. My gym has 2 scales (both electronic) and they've show up to a 12 lb difference between them! AND in just comparing each one to itself over the last week, 1 shows I lost 5 lb - the other says 1 lb YAY Frustration!!
