I was wondering about this myself, whether a really bit deficit to lose the weight and then eating maintenance and lifting was a good idea. Because you can't build muscle at deficit can you? And you can't lose weight without a deficit... I get confused! But it looks like it's best to eat at deficit and lift. Thanks for all…

Best option is wear a HRM and you can log it in more accurately. That's what I do.

Wow, did you feel like death? I have tried to kick my habit and it's left me feeling like my head might explode and even nauseous. I've cut down from 8 a day to about 3 a day.

It's a great feeling to complete something from start to finish :) I recently did an 8 week sugar free thing and I too didn't lose any weight but was proud of myself for seeing it through! Good luck with your next step.

I lost nothing my first month of insanity but then went on to lose 18lbs the second month. Might just take time?

Are you weighing your food? A lot of the time logging can be inaccurate because people have trouble estimating serving sizes etc If your satisfied and meeting your nutritional requirements I wouldn't worry too much...

I do yoga daily and since starting (maybe 2 years ago, once a week at first and built up from there) my arms and legs have become really toned. I also love to box and lift. I walk up hills too! Good luck!
