Weight (oz.) and measure (cups) are not the same thing so can't be compared. A cup of flour and a cup of water weigh considerably differently even though they are the same measure (cup). Two suggestions: buy a kitchen scale or measure your pork in a cup measure. My advice is go get the scale, I bought mine at WalMart for…

Blue Seal Natural 26. It's an all natural dog food with no preservatives and no potato in it. She has a very sensitive stomach and is especially sensitive to potatoes - oh the vomit. Found out that a lot of dog foods have potato as their first ingredient - which is why I came home to a pile of dog puke by the back door…

I am not, but know someone who is on here. There is a breastfeeding item on the list you can add to change your calories. It is listed in the same place you search for food items. Think there are a few that are different depending if you are breastfeeding exclussively or not. Hope this helps.

They are oh so good, made them yesterday and proceeded to eat three of them! Also had one as part of my balanced breakfast, they are too good. I have frozen the remaining cupcakes as to not be tempted.

An 8 oz block of extra sharp cheddar with a half of a box of Trisquits and a half of a bag of sliced pepperoni Half a box of Little Debbie star crunch cosmic snacks or…

Agree with the above poster that they will stay picky if you let them. My 19-year-old step-daughter was never made to eat vegetables or fruit as a child, her mother doesn't cook anything that isn't out of a box or can. I came along when she was 9 and tried to get her to eat better without much success. The only vegetable…

Thanks for all of your help and advice, here's what I've taken away from it: I am going to try using a HR monitor to accurate tell how many calories I'm burning, I'm going to eat at my BMR, and add some cardio. This is very helpful as I'm trying to do this right, not cheat and do something unhealthy which is how I've lost…

I like avacado on my BLT - To. Die. For. Actually I do bacon, avacado, tomato so mine is a BAT :) I love PB banana sandwiches, know others who love PB Fluff, and one who liked PB Mayo (yuck) I don't like tomato soup so I don't dip my grilled cheese in it (rest of the family does though). I like it dipped in chicken noodle…

Planning lunches ahead and packing is a must, but make sure you have variety and aren't packing a salad or a turkey sandwhich every single day. The gym works for some people, but I felt it took too much time out of my day to go there (I am in nursing school, work part time and have a family). I prefer videos because they…

First off you (and your son) should be proud of that 23 lbs, and your dedication to stick it through for 125 days, that's a long time! That being said it may be time to change what you are doing slightly - you can try decreasing your calories by 100/day for 2 weeks and see how your body responds, or you can go the other…

Carbohydrates are found in many foods including beans, fruits, vegetables, and even dairy. The base of carbohydrates is glucose which is essential for brain functioning - brains don't run on protein or fat - they run on glucose (more specifically ATP the energy molecule). This being said you can eat a diet that has no…

I'm just wondering why such a drastic approach? You've lost 32 lbs since November just by cutting calories with light activity recently. Fasting - why? If you are looking to add calories you should add 100 calories per day for 2 weeks (according to fitness magazine) and evaluate at that point. Another posted said weights…
