Have disappeared for a while here. However I haven't given up on my goals. My weight has been on a bit of a yoyo for the past three weeks but I'm still trending slowing down so happy about that. I was training very hard for an attempt up Mt. Rainier in August. We made an attempt but weather and mountain conditions didn't…

I need to do this. I was talking with my wife about it on Monday after my weight in. It would be nice to have more stats to track than just weight.

Morning gang. Got in a sunrise bike ride today before work. I'm coming for that scale this week.

Good morning everyone. My Monday morning weigh-in was not kind to me today. Showed a gain of 3lbs this week. Quite discouraging especially when I have been very diligent in my food tracking and calorie intake. I exercised a lot this last week and have to imagine that I'm still going in the right direction even if the scale…

Finally put the feet to the ground and went for an early morning run today. Yep I am just as out of shape as I thought.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Monday morning weigh in was a success for me today, lost 5.6lbs last week and am almost out of the 190s.

Good job Jill. Keep it up! Hope everyone has a great Friday and weekend.

Sometimes a new tech toy can spur new enthusiasm in your fitness training. They are fun to play with and give nice detailed feedback and stats for people who enjoy seeing that stuff. I have the Garmin Fenix and I love the connect app. The most recent update to their app was really nice and it works seamlessly with MFP.…

Legs felt great yesterday. Got a 12 mile bike ride in with lots of hill work. My Rainier climb is coming up soon so training needs to ramp up for the next three weeks. Planning on mon-wed-fri runs, tue-thu bike, and hike with weight on sat with rest on Sunday. Losing 10 pounds in the next 4 weeks is the goal. If it doesn’t…

Yesterday was another good day for me. That makes 3 in a row. ;) Watched my daughter at her dance camp, got my allergy shots without incident, and even was able to sneak in a short bike ride. Your little kitchen dance party sounds like it was a good time Jill. David

Laura, late night eating is a problem of mine also. You are not alone on that one I promise you so stay strong and take it day by day. Tracey you totally nailed what I was trying to explain in my post. A bad day is so easy to turn into a bad week... so on and so on. I am hoping these forums will help me when I do have some…

Hi Jill. I agree with you that logging is a constant fight. When eating right and staying in the green its easy to log, but when a setback happens and the numbers don't look so good its a bit harder to do. My problem is that once I have a few setbacks I seem to just fall completely off the rails. This time I will do better…

Hello all, this is such a positive group. I have been on a rollercoaster of weight gain and weight loss for too long now and I am once again at the top of the ride. I would like to lose 40lbs and actually keep it off this time. At one point I was running 25miles a week consistently. I haven't gone for a run in at least 2…

what would give you the most motivation going forward? Whatever you answer to that question is what you should use. Like you said there is no right or wrong.
