  • Thanks guys. I was looking over my fiber and it is really high. Going to lay off that for a couple days! For the record, I don't eat the fruit with it. It already has enough calories in it. :). It tastes so good though!!!!
  • Usually I have quite a bit from fruits and veggies. Feeling kinda "stopped up" though. This is so weird.

  • One of my friends who lives in Middlebury told me about this one: It's based out of Elkhart. http://www.teachersonline.us/ Her friend's husband is the treasurer of the group. My friend also said that there are a lot of small co-ops as well in the area. Maybe you could find out more from the Teacher group. Not sure if they…
  • Have you checked online? I have friends and family that still live in my hometown (Goshen). I'll ask them if they know of any near you. My area has a HUGE homeschooling community. There is a homeschooling Yahoo group just for my county and there are TONS and I mean TONS of co-ops around here. Usually someone posts on there…
  • I usually get up between 6 and 7:30 a.m. Just depends on what my husband's work schedule is. If he's gone early (around 3 a.m.) I don't wake up till later. But if he leaves later or is working at home for the day I usually get up at 6 and have breakfast with him and chat after I do my personal devotional time. I make sure…

  • Wow, I haven't checked over here on this thread for awhile. I'm so glad there are so many of us. I sent out some friend requests hoping that us homeschooling moms can stick together! Looking forward to getting to know everyone. :)
  • I'm just trying to count calories. I make some weight watcher recipes as I used to be a member about 9 years ago. I still have my old points counter and everything. Counting my calories is really easy to do on here. I'm so glad I found this place!
  • Does anyone incorporate their exercise into their children's "P.E." program? My son and I work out usually five days a week. Either walking for 30 minutes or doing cardio for 15 minutes and strength training for 15 minutes. We've even done yoga some. He loves it. I'm incorporating a health curriculum that includes healthy…
  • Hi Renee! I brought my son home three years ago from public school because of his auditory processing disorder. He is doing so much better. He would be totally lost now that he is middle school age. I'm so glad we made the decision to bring him home. Wish I would have done it sooner though. I applaud you for bringing your…
  • Hi! I'm Kendra. I homeschool my 11 year old son. We live in North Carolina. We've been homeschooling for 3 years now and it's going great! I've always had problems with my weight but since I started homeschooling it's been more difficult. I used to work as a cook so I was on my feet all day long. And that's another problem…
  • Awesome job! That's amazing! What all are you doing?
  • Thanks, you guys for all the support and help. I need to drink more tea and water because I know that makes me feel fuller and will hopefully deter me. My husband was out of town last week and it out of town most of this week. At night it's so hard! Last week I tried to go to bed early and read. Since it's warm in the bed…
