I too like the tape measure. I seem to lose inches quicker than pounds.

I made granola and it was so good but the calorie count was so high. I also was surprised. I decided it wasn't worth the calories for me because i was eating it for a snack.

I love ice cream also. I have found that what works for me is to allow some calories for my sweets. Sometimes it can be something as simple as reducing my portion size during meal time. Then using those calories for a treat. Taking a walk can earm you extra calories that you can use for a treat. I read an article that said…

I eat peanut butter and toast to try and add some protien.

Sugarless gum, 10 Reeses Pieces( I used to eats a couple of handfuls everyday), popcycle,miniature candy bar, peppermint stick, if I really want something sweet I try to make it a really small portion and if that doesn't work I wait awhile and have another.
