So friends visiting from out of town who you haven't seen in 2 years = fancy lunch out. Awesome.

Same friends then deciding for that night, that instead of cinema, we're going for girls night in plus takeaway + lack of knowledge of how bad even small portions of an in indian are = deadly.

Yesturday's net calories after exercise = 2320.
TDEE = BMR of 1578 x 1.2 (sedentary) = 1893 daily calories need.
Therefore overeat of 427 calories.

Now normally I'm aiming to net 1200 after exercise, however occasionally happy to net up to TDEE.

So here's the question, would it be ok to deduct the 400 cals off my allowance for today to balance it out? i.e. burn an extra 400 calorie in excercise but not eat them back.

    That's what I do . But there again I am not a fitness trainer or nutritionist.

    It might be easier to eat back 200 fewer calories eat of the next 2 days... you'll be less likely to feel hungry and deprived.

    Or, you could just say "oh well" and move forward. Some days you do better than others. 400 calories amounts to about a 1/10th of a pound.

    If I felt guilty I would try to eat better choices and throw in some extra exercise the next couple of days. Since I probably would not feel guilty I would just really push a ton of water the next couple of days. Normally take out or restaurant food has a ton of sodium which could cause you to bloat or retain a lot of water.
