I agree, temper the protein mix first in a warm liquid and then slowly stir it in.

I started the c25k in July. i was training for a 5k in Oct but was convinced to do one Sept 11. So glad I did! I have tried this before and never successful. This time I had the mindset of "who cares if I have to walk some if I have to".Weeks 4 and 5 were always the killer. This time I repeated the day if I couldn't do it.…

Great job. You look great

I eat almost twice that. I do protein powder with my coffee, then 6 small meals a day. I have found that some people may not be measuring their protein correctly. Do you measure raw or cooked? Unless you are buying it packaged and cooked with NI on it for cooked (such as cooked chicken strips, tuna etc), it should be…

I do things a bit different than most. With all the working out, I would eat more. I am not a fast loser but I am consistent. I do not restrict my carbs that low either. I eat 1400-1500 cals / day. 125g protein, 110g carb and 56g fat. I often find that when I stall, it is because I am not eating enough.

Favorites are pineapple, peaches, pretzels (especially the cottage cheese with chives and onion, mixing into scrambled eggs and replacing ricotta cheese in recipes (just because I like to use what's on hand).

Congrats! What a great feeling! You should be proud.

Wonderful news. You have done well.

I agree that it is different for everyone. I have lost before to just regain again so I am hesitant to let go of the constant logging and monitoring. I know that some day I will be able to do it, but I think it is a long time coming. I think back to when I was a smoker. There were times that I would quit for years and then…

I think it would be pretty hard to stretch your pouch. Some days I can eat like crazy and others not so much. On average I am eating over 1400 cals a day and still losing. Sounds like you just need to get back on track. Like some have said, there are slider foods that you need to watch out for because you can eat way more…

Fabulous transformation! Well done.

Wow you look amazing! I see your style of clothes hasn't changed any though  Congrats on that win too!

I don't think any food per se bothers me it is usually if it is dry (esp chicken breast or white pork) or I eat too fast. I get a pain in my chest and I start drooling. My nose starts running and sometimes I throw up slimey stuff. So eat slow. Small bites. Make sure your food is moist. :)

Always best to check with the surgeon but if not warm to touch it may be a thickening of the scar tissue or fluid. Best to have it checked to make sure it isn't a hernia an infection brewing.

Fabulous. You look great. I love that in each picture you look happier and more confident

Congrats! Such an accomplishment. For training I do weights 4x/week. I do elliptical warm ups and 1 day cardio.

I do that with my eggs too. I add wholly guacamole ( never tried added hummus) snack packs.

I am not at goal but about 7 months out. I am still focused on losing fat and also muscle gain. I am set at 1344 cals: P 125g, C 85g and F 56g. The sugar and sodium I just keep at the default.

My go to foods are: boiled eggs, dark chocolate oven baked almonds or the toasted coconut flavor, Greek yogurt with a mix of oats, chia, hemp seeds and buck wheat with a little fruit (sometimes I will use protein granola instead). I am having aidells chicken pineapple meatballs tonight which are great as a meal or snack.

You have lost quite quickly and have started working out. Your body needs time to adjust sometimes and starting on an exercise plan can cause your body to hang on to more water (not fat). I wouldn't worry too much about the stall, it will move again. I think 80-100g of carbs is about right. You may even see the scale go up…

I agree. No more buying big clothes! If you put on 10 lbs of muscle, you will still be smaller than putting on 10lbs of fat so get rid of them.

I had very little pain and by week 2 I was starting some cardio. Most of the pain I did have was in the center of my chest, probably from the large hiatal hernia repair. Hopefully, another week and your pain will be better. As for gurgling, it is what it is. My tummy makes all sorts of noises but it has improved…

^^^ I am with these 2. I am hungry. I could certainly eat more than I do. I am 7 months out and eat 1344 cals/day but it is working and I am losing. I have actually increased my fat intake recently which is helping.

I will stick to a healthy lifestyle (food an exercise). This isn't done when I hit my goal, it is for life. I am not worried about any gains since I am doing a lot of weight lifting, but if I do gain from being off track, I will not let it get more than 10 lbs. I will continue to monitor food even after goal. It is too…

Great progress. You look fantastic
