yeah, he's full of it. he's just saying you could lose weight faster if you went without the chips, and that chips aren't exactly necessary. however, your method of CONTROLLING the portions of those types of snack food will have a better effect on your lifestyle for the rest of your life. go to a party in the future, you…

yep. It's only been the past two or so generations that have needed to think about food choices in terms of 'will this make me fat'? We're also the first generations with SUCH incredibly sedentary lifestyles. i would hazard a guess at the more extreme levels of obesity being learned behaviour from parents who didn't know…

Hibernation. Then i wouldn't have to be cold, either.

LOL! oh wait... you weren't trolling. In that case... A man with less body fat than a woman!? What sorcery is this?
-
The linked articles are actually really interesting, which i wasn't expecting from cracked o_O Basically, it suggests that if you have ever been fat and lost the weight, you're always going to have to put in more effort to keep that weight off than someone of the same size who has never been fat. That conclusion seemed…

i kinda like the canned ones... i presume they haven't been dried out then re-cooked. however, the taste of dried beans is usually better.
-
lol, gross... someone didn't think that one through. XD

probably muscle. if your measurements are down, all is well, as far as i'm concerned. i've already forgotten if you said you count your cals or not. you may just not be creating enough of a deficit to lose.
-
yum, thank you - that looks amazing. i will cook that.
-
...that sort of comment probably warrants some backup. links to studies? pretty sure just by looking at her that she is not at any major health risk. she's just tall and strong and hasn't aimed for super low body fat. also, i don't get it - you're buff as hell. why have you chosen to be bulky if you know it's not healthy?
-
none of what you are saying is silly at all. i get what you mean about worrying about loose skin, and feeling like you've failed and deserve to be 'fat' and deserve all the bad things that come with it. you're 27 - i'm 26, i'm totally with you on this type of thinking! it is a hard thing to deal with. in fact, amongst all…

i am keen as for that lentil curry please :) :) :)
-
okay, two MFPeeps responded, so i'll add their suggestions here. From MrsRipdizzle: 4 egg whites, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 cup oats, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp stevia or splenda, and 1 scoop vanilla or cinnabun flavored protein. Blend well. You can make these into pancakes or waffles :) Low cal, high protein, good…

yeah, gunna need to see some evidence of your @ssholeishness to determine whether you actually are one.

oh dear me... no, post-diet people cannot even slightly be considered to be the same as a person with a predisposition to obesity. holy what... and... really? we're surprised that it takes more energy to break down proteins--massively complex molecules--than carbohydrates? >_> that was some painfully bad journalism, too.…

wow, amazing how different you look in each. i'm seeing big progress between feb and july around your butt - it's all lifted~ also, whoa huge change on the side - you have an amazingly flat stomach!
-

do NOT get Evolve Lip whey choc. Tastes like @ss, hahaha! if you're getting enough protein naturally, why take a supplement?
-
paaaaaancakes~ ...when i can manage it. XD i don't really like cereal or toast, but sometimes i can handle weetbix. eggs, boiled. yum. helga's sandwich thin, vegemite, cheese and fried egg. omg. whey - pb - lsa - psyllium husk protein balls.

it's irrelevant how the men feel, and it is not 'their' side. it's just where they like to hang out :) it's also where i like and NEED to hang out.
-
absolutely, do legs. it really helps improve your running. climbing hills does too. a bit of cross training can really boost your strength and speed while running.
-
you are a cutie <3 in both pics, i might add. but yay for shorts!!
-
well, you look extremely cute in your profile pic. did you take before pics? it sounds like you're sad about two things: 1. feeling that no progress has been made, and 2. that even with apparent progress, you feel that you look like you're still the fat girl. i'd put on a flattering dress and take a good look in the…

when considering this question, it needs to be remembered that men put on muscle FAR more easily than women, and men also lose fat far more easily. a woman saying 'building muscle is REALLY hard' doesn't add anything more to the argument than a man saying 'cutting is EASY :D' cutting is easy for men. putting on muscle is…

this is a fitness site, not myfatnesspal... got to keep all types of users in mind when sharing opinions. belonging to the majority doesn't justify bashing.
-
it's hard to see the change until it is quite dramatic, which is why it is also easy to put weight on.
-
LMAO............ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWaLxFIVX1s I make myself a hot chocolate - 1tsp sugar, 1tsp baking cocoa, mostly water (not as gross as it sounds) and a bit of milk. it comes to 50 or so cals, is warm and indulgent in a different way, and lasts longer than 1 piece of lindt dark chocolate for the same…

Size 12 Aus is considered a 'plus' size, which is an 8 US. Size 6 US is 10 Aus... which i think is sort of a black hole in the fashion modelling world. I'm pretty sure health and fitness models are generally an 8-10 Aus (4-6 US). (Smaller if shorter)

bump to read for later. XD i don't think i've done anything embarrasing at the gym. at work though... found out one of my skirts was transparent. wrapped a scarf around it in horror and rushed home to change. lucky for the scarf. XD

dude, seriously? she has been friends with him for 14 years! if either of them wanted the other, it would have happened by now. and from what you have said she hasn't hidden anything from you about this guy. she's not sneaking off to talk to him for hours - she's doing it right in front of you. there's nothing wrong or…
