I have found IF is easier for me to stick within my calories. I was never satisfied with small meals, and would want to snack. But with IF I have two bigger meals and a snack if needed. Much more satisfying to have larger meals.

Sheppard’s pie using mashed cauliflower-I only add a dab of almond milk when mashing it, no butter etc. I made a pan tonight and 1/4 of the pan had 19 g carbs (using ground chicken, 1 can corn-but you could use a different veggie, mashed cauliflower, cheddar cheese.

Nuts are high in calories/fat for small servings. I would suggest adding a handful or two of those in a day to help your calories. Also you can indulge since you have “extra” calories. You don’t have to deprive yourself to lose weight. Have a cup of hot cocoa or some other treat.

No, BUT I set limites/guidelines. ~Eat out no more than once a day. ~ Limit sweets to once a day. ~pre measure and bag snacks ~ prepare simple meals (like crockpot chicken, or eggs for breakfast) when I can I found that following a few guidelines, knowing how much and what you should eat (you should be familiar With a…

I picked what I thought would the highest, realalistic, weight I would be happy with. I am in my 30’s now and have had 4 kids, so I wasn’t sure how things would go and didn’t want to make my goal to hard to get to and discouraging. I am now 10 pounds below my original goal and to lose 5 more pounds.

I don’t know if I would agree that structured exercise offers more benefits than being active. I get PLENTY of activity in my daily life that I don’t need to purposefully exercise. But I do enjoy walking so I do that when I can. Some ideas: -parking in the back of the parking lot -taking the stairs -deep cleaning the house…

“You can’t out exercise a bad diet”. I get plenty of movement in my day to day life, I don’t go to the gym (and hit my goal weight 10 pounds ago). I do plan on doing some weights this winter, but that’s with the goal of body shaping NOT weight loss.
-
I plan on eating very lightly earlier in the day, then eating whatever I want for dinner. Just having reasonable portions and not eating past full.

Homemade pizza using a cauliflower pizza crust (cauliflower, 1 egg, parm cheese), topped with cheese, broccoli, and chicken. I don’t like sauce and the cauliflower crust is excellent without sauce, moist enough to not need anything.

It’s crazy how many steps you put in as a SAHM! I have 4 (within 5 years of each other-no twins). I borrowed my hubby’s Fitbit and realized I was putting in 10,000k steps a day. I am set at lightly active. I put in 3,000 steps within the first 40 mins of waking up.

Body weight exercises. Step aerobics (all you need is sneakers and a step platform thing, I am sure you can find routines on YouTube) Maybe some hand weights or a kettlebell I am very active when the weather is nice, but hate snow. The above are the things I am considering for inside exercise this winter.

^this. It seems silly now that I was having 3 meals and a snack or 2 and was never really satisfied. With 2 meals I can have a lot larger meals (I basically combine my breakfast and lunch calories into one big meal, then have my dinner).

I quite WW after gaining/losing the same half pound for weeks on freestyle. You still have to watch calories and portion size, and if I am going to have to double track I am just gonna do calories. I eat a lot of the “free” foods. And I would consume 500+ calories at breakfast, but it would only be like 4 points. Same with…

4 kids in 5 years. All single births. I was never able to lose all the baby weight before getting prego again. And 3 of the pregnancies I gained more than the 25/30 pounds reccomended. I did lose some of it after my last was weaned, but then hubby quite trucking. And now was home at night eating ice cream and wanting to…

You can make your own entries. I just googled calories burned stacking firewood when I wanted to add that and averaged out a couple of the ones I found.

I have lost 40 pounds in 10 months and eat ice cream a lot. It’s really just portion size. I do make some swaps like using almond milk on my cereal and in anything I cook that I will eat. I swap half to 3/4 of my rice with riced cauliflower. I have discovered a alfrado recipe using almond milk that taste pretty good, and…

I have lost 38 pounds in 10 months. My 4th was born in 2014. Kids are 9, 7, 6, and 4. I have yo-yo’d a lot in the previous 3 years but decided this is it. This is the time I lose it all and don’t gain it back.
-
I have lost a little over 38 pounds and haven’t set foot in a gym. The only intentional exercise I do is walking. I fit it in as many times a week as I can weather permitting.

Oh I have a few: 1) watching my husband eat late at night, and it’s always something good like ice cream. I do eat ice cream but it’s earlier in the day, but I still want some when he has it. 2) people springing a surprise dinner idea on me like an hour before dinner. I like to eat most of my calories earlier in the day,…

We did a family vacation this spring. I didn't track at all, ate ice cream every night, and maintained. I feel that you kinda "know" what you should and should eat. I would make breakfast (eggs for me) every morning. Eat a sandwich and yogurt for lunch. what ever we had planned for dinner. and before we left i had…

I don't eat out a lot, because I hate how much $$ it is. But when I do, I plan for it. It helps to look at the menu and plan the restaurant meal first, then plan your other meals lighter. If you don't want a low calorie option, only eat half of what ever you order (take the rest home for tomorrow). unless it's something…

this month was a hard one for me. I tried to eat at maintenance and had ice cream all but one night. i only sorta tracked, but you know what choices you should be making. my bowl of ice cream was small, and besides some graham crackers one day i didn't have anything else snack like. mentally i felt great. i was also very…

ask PT about resistance bands. maybe they would be okay for arms?

i don't "work" outside (as in a paying job), but we do have a small urban homestead. right now is our busy season, i spend hours a day harvesting and taking care of crops (i do it all pretty much myself, and use no chemicals for weed control). i lost 1.4 pounds last week. i walked once, cause the kids wanted to go to the…

Trying on cloths 2 weeks ago. Not only was it fun, but I take a small shirt now (at this store anyway)!

Family of 6. We average out to around $100/week. Some weeks I only buy milk and bread, some weeks I stock the freezer. I also grow a lot of our food. And we have a large flock of chickens, so all the eggs we could possibly eat.

Hubby quite trucking and likes ice cream. Every. Single. Night. I gained what I had lost back over the next year and a half. I was to the point where I hated myself again, and have learned to treat ice cream like the treat it is.

I lost all the baby weight after my first baby doing ww classic, but freestyle was horrible. I eat way to many of those “free” foods and enjoy them. So they said you should be monitoring your servings. I am not going to double trac so I came back here. My parents have had great success with WW. I do think the points system…

I plan at least a day in advance. Currently I’m planned out through Friday, this is a pretty calm week and Nothing should come up or I wouldn’t be planned out that far. If something happens and I can switch my other meals around to make the unplanned meal fit, I do that. If I can’t change my breakfast/lunch up (like when…

i grew up in a rather active outdoorsy family, but for me i started to gain weight when high school. while my parents knew that what was in the house was/is bad they just can not seem to get rid of it. we had pasta or potatoes all the time. chips and ice cream. my mom loves to bake cookies and cakes and brownies. sugar…
