46 years young, here. lost about 125 overall over the past couple of years (some with MFP, and some prior to that). There is NO easy road that I've found. What has helped me? Planning, Exercise, and healthier eating choices. As I type this, I'm munching celery, cucumbers and carrots with a home made roasted red pepper…

I've always battled with my weight. However, when I was younger and went on a "diet", the weight would come off fairly quickly & easily for me----all I did was focus on healthy eating and excercise. Now that I'm in my mid-forties, it's just simply not that easy any more. I wish I would've realized all of this 10+ years…

I splurge. It's very hard NOT to occasionally. When I feel a splurge coming on, I will do a few things. I'll drink water. Till I'm at least 1/2 full and right before my "splurge". This helps me to immediately reduce the "Bad Calories" I would've otherwise consumed. Next....I check out the calorie content (or something very…

GREAT work, folks!!!! These are all VERYinspiring, and I was actually smiling and laughing reading through some of them. Keep up the WONDERFUL work. Here are some of mine: *I'm in size 14 pants (just about in 12's), from being in 22's in early 2012 *My rings have to be resized (they used to be wedged on, now they are…

I have coordinated some gals here at work, brought in my Zumba DVD set I recently received (which I have yet to try), and we're all going to try to start a "Zumba hour" here at work (after hours) 3 days each week. Today is our first day for this. I'm am seriously hoping this works out!!!

When I hear, "Wow! You're looking GREAT"! It just boosts me up, helps me feel stronger in my conviction that I'm on the right path, and helps me to keep my eye on the prize.

Hmmm. Had my Medifast shakes for Breakfast & Mid-morning snack. Am looking in my little office "cubby/pantry", and am seeing a can of Premium Skinless & Boneless Pink Salmon, along with some Medifast Wheat Crackers. Sounds like it'll do the trick! Dinner, though, will be interesting. Hubby is off work tonight and hates to…

My next Mini Goal is to be at 190 by December 18th. Hubby and I, for the first time EVER, are running away for Christmas and going to JAMAICA Mon! I'm at 202 now, and excited to be on the edge of ONEderland. Been many a-moons since I've seen the ones. But would like to be at 190 by the time I board that plane. It's…

I have little "pantry" stashes at work, at home,...even in my car (my car has non-perishable goods). This way, I ALWAYS have a healthy snack & water bottle at hand. That is my first "go to" stop when I get hungry. This has gone a LONG way towards keeping me on track.

I am saving up weekly & monthly now. When I hit my goal.....I'm going to mosey on down to Victoria Secrets and totally splurge on a shopping spree!!!!

Congratulations! Yes, isn't that just a WONDERFUL feeling? I've gone from a size 22 down to a12/14, and while I've ditched most of my "bigger" clothes.....I'm keeping a few strategic pieces. When I get a little down in the dumps and my motivation is starting to lag....I will pull those out and visually SEE how far I've…

GREAT Timing for your post. I've been pretty down lately about my daily (morning) battle with the Scale. Yes, I know I SHOULD NOT weigh myself each day, but I find it helps to keep my goals front and foremost in my mind throughout the day. I've made some great progress already, though I still have quite a bit to go. Your…

Sign me up! CW: 210 GW on 12/31: 190 And I am MOTIVATED, too! My husband has decided to whisk me away at Christmas time this year for a Carribean vacation. Partially as a reward for doing so well already this year (40 pounds!) and partially as a new "motivator" for me, So I've got some more work ahead of me, and a bathing…
