  • This time last year I was easily 205-208!! Now I'm 180lbs!
  • First of all Welcome Back!! :flowerforyou: Everyone asks me how can I do it? For me at first it was just a matter of trying my hardest to figure out what I can eat for meals and then what I liked to have. Example, I used to eat 2 slices of toast, 2-4 scrambled eggs and cup of coffee (sugar and creamer). Now I choose wiser…
  • Thank you both for the replies. I plan to continue this journey no matter how hard it gets. I know that they say exercise is actually a good benefit for Fibro, so I plan to continue as much as I can (like always). Like with everything, some days are better then others, so on those good days I have to try to do as…
  • I was 208 starting weight, I lost 7 lbs the first week and then it seemed to have slowed down to about 1-3 lbs a week, depends on how much I exercise and stay away from "bad" food choices. Make sure you drink your water and watch the sodium intake!
  • my coffee! LOL. Everyone that knows me knows I can't function without it! :drinker:
  • I loved doing the Billy Blank's Tae Bo Workouts. He's fun and I really enjoyed doing them. Granted that I did them until I was 8 wks pregnant with my Daughter, who's now 4 yrs, and I haven't even tempted to do them yet. But my only reason is I was afraid of injuring my knees or my back at my starting weight. I'm almost…
  • I have to agree, definately see it in your face and across your shoulders too. Great job and keep it up!
  • You can always for the FAT FREE cream cheese make your own graham cracker crust with margine and graham crackers and then use a low calorie Sugar Free Jam. I don't know what the calories would be of if it's worth the try. Some things it's actually better to eat the real thing then to eat the fat free version. Sometime it's…
  • Ok you have kids, so that means you probably have photos, you have a computer/laptop (I'm assuming)... so why not try digital scrapbooking? If you are interested I can help you get started. :-)
  • If you really want it, put your mind to it and don't take no for an answer! You can do it!! You're off to a great start and shown yourself who you really are! Hold your chin high and be proud!! :)
  • Green veggies like bok choy, turnip greens, Chinese cabbage, and kale. The traditional soul food favorites, collard and turnip greens, offer a lot of calcium, too. One cup of chopped, cooked turnip greens has about 200 milligrams of calcium. sardines are also another good source. Also try looking for a good calium rich…
  • Well personally I do it from the time I get up until I go to bed, which is pretty normal schedule. I wake about 6am and go to bed around 10pm. But you need to make sure you are recording everything you eat and drink in a 24 hr period. You can change the meals to actual times you eat. HTH, (hope that helps) Jennifer
  • My Goal is to go from 208 to 160, so that's a 40lb loss. I've lost 13 lbs now in just over 1 1/2 months. I lost about 6 lbs the first week but that was due to portion control. I never knew how much I was over eating in high calorie foods. Especially pastas! I measure everything now and I stay in my calorie intake range and…
  • Well you can always just pick one for today, tomorrow pick a different one and ect! That will break up the boredom of doing the same thing all the time. Plus you will get to work on all of the areas! :)

  • I LOVE pizza and this is definitely something I want to give a try! Sounds really yummy and better then plain cheese pizza too! LOL.
  • :flowerforyou: Thank you ladies, I've struggled with my weight all of my life and I've always had a harder time dealing with it then most. Even when I was skinny I still saw someone who was very overweight. I just wish that I could except my body the way it is, when I'm healthier weight. :grumble: I'm trying to give myself…

  • Ya know, I was thinking about that and I'd rather steam them then to boil the carrots. Or even try to steam them in the microwave in those steam bags.
  • You look great!!! Keep up the awesome job!:flowerforyou:

  • I have a few friends that are using the SlimQuick tablets, you can buy them at Wal-Mart. They've had lots of success with taking it and no side effects so far. One of them has lost over 30+ lbs in a matter of 6 months. I choose not to use anything because I'm losing this way and not really going through starving…
  • Me too!! I lost 16 lbs in 2 weeks but I was so drained and starving all the time!! NEVER do that again!!
