  • I eat GF and I am not celiac, but I do believe I am sensitive to gluten. In the new year I knew I had to make some sort of change because I was constantly having digestive upset, and I was sick of it. I had tried cutting out milk to no avail, but I had never really thought going GF was something I could do. I was eating a…
  • Absolutely you can split them! You don't have to do them consecutively. But as PP said, try to do as many as you can in one go. But don't kill yourself lol. Ive been doing them with just 3 lb weights in each hand. Good god how do people do it with big weights?!?!?! lol
  • Cool! According to that ideal body weight/frame size calculator thingy, I have a small frame and my ideal weight is 135 lbs which is what I am right now! Excellent! Haha
  • I have a 4 year old daughter and a 19 month old son. My 4 year old girl is 45" and my 19 month old boy is 34" (I think?). My daugher is set to me my height (you're supposed to double their height on their 2 year old bday and that's their adult height... making her 5'10 just like me!). She has long legs just like me too! My…
  • Hi! I just came across this group in a search for "tall women" haha! I'm 5'10" and 135 lbs, which is my GW! I have been a member of MFP for a while but have been religious about it for the past 2.5 months or so. I had a big cheat over the Easter long weekend and gained a bunch of weight back quickly so to stay at this…
  • I eat at least one big salad a day, everyday. And have for months, and it's crazy how much better I've felt since doing this. Usually my go-to salad is romaine, spring lettuce mix, some crumbled light goat cheese, two slices of tomato cut up, 1-2 strawberries cut up, 1/4 of a yellow or orange pepper, a bit of red onion,…
  • I'm 5'10". CW is 139 (down from 143 just two weeks ago though!!) and I'm size 2-4 depending on where I shop. I'm wearing size 2 pants from Gap right now, but many of their pants fit me size 4. Always S or XS in tops (I have NO boobs thanks to breastfeeding two babies till they were almost 18 months). My GW is 133.
  • Make sure you take Blessed Thistle along with Fenugreek so it actually absorbs well!
  • I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I gained weight after I weaned. I nursed my son till he was 16.5 months. I got down to an all time low weight (for my adult years) and when he weaned I gained about 7 lbs back. I'm now trying to lose those 7 again.
  • I must be alone here (and hypoglycemic), but there is no way I could fast. I would pass out I think. Sometimes I literally can not make it to lunch from breakfast without a small snack. It seems like a lot of people (women, especially) are in my shoes that I know IRL, wouldn't this be a concern for many? I can't see it…
  • It's weird... I've heard some people say, like you've heard that the weight just falls off from BFing. But then I hear the opposite too that weight can really hang on because your body needs that extra fat to help with milk production. And then it falls off once baby's weaned. I hope I'm in the former of these two…
  • Hi mammas!!! I'm new to MFP, just signed up tonight! I'm exclusively breastfeeding my 4 month old son (who is a HUGE pig... he's 19 lbs and turns 4 months on Sunday!). I'm looking to lose these last 10 lbs. I'm 150 lbs and 5'10 and pre-pregnancy I was 140. 135 would be my super ideal but I don't know how possible that is…
