Salads

I was luckily and got quite a bit of romaine lettuce this week, so it would be stupid for me not to use it.
I always have the same salad (lettuce, a few cut up chicken nuggets and a little but of ranch) but I really want to try other recipes so I don't get bored this week.
So what salad combinations do you enjoy?

Steak, bell pepper, and your favorite Caesar dressing
Sauteed pork, dried cherries, and a fruit vinaigrette
Blue cheese, walnuts, crumbled bacon, and balsamic vinaigrette
Garbanzo beans, feta, red onion, cucumber, and a Greek dressing0 -

I love salads with grilled chicken, fruit (strawberries, blueberries, apples, etc.), nuts (walnuts, pecans, pine nuts, etc.), cheese (gorgonzola, bleu, etc.), and a light vinegarette (raspberry, cider, wine, etc).
Hope I helped0 -
Garbanzo beans, feta, red onion, cucumber, and a Greek dressing
Never thought of garbanzo beans on my Greek salads (though I've put them on salad bar salads.
Must try!0 -
Lettuce, avocado, tomatoes, green onions, cilantro, black beans, cheddar cheese and plain fat free greek yogurt. My favorite right now.0

I eat at least one big salad a day, everyday. And have for months, and it's crazy how much better I've felt since doing this. Usually my go-to salad is romaine, spring lettuce mix, some crumbled light goat cheese, two slices of tomato cut up, 1-2 strawberries cut up, 1/4 of a yellow or orange pepper, a bit of red onion, and 1 tbsp of hemp seeds. Dressing is usually a Renee's (low calories, GF and YUMMY!).0

YUM, I'm loving all of these ideas. Don't really have any to add but didn't want to lose this post0

I usually mix a couple greens together - like add spinach to your romaine for instance
Bell pepper (red is my favorite but I also will use yellow and orange or all three)
Some sort of protein - tuna, chicken, lean ground turkey (cooked), salmon - you can get it in a pouch
Cucumber
Tomato
Instead of dressing, I use a serving of cottage cheese0 -
tortellini salad
cheese torteillini topped on lettuce, kalamata olives, banana peppers, red onion, mushrooms, bell pepper, feta cheese with lemon juice olive oil red wine vinegrette and some oregano/garlic powder. also good with a ranch dressing0 -
baby Spinach, grape tomatoes, cukes, grilled portabello mushrooms, red onions and light ranch dressing. (grilled chicken ham or fish as protein)0

I love all of these ideas! Thank you0

A mixture of whatever lettuce you have on hand and chopped cabbage.
Chop up some carrots, celery, onion, tomatoes.
Add in some nuts for protein and healthy fat.
Asian vinaigrette dressing.0 -
I like to add bell peppers (green red and yellow), tomato, cucumber. Dressing is olive oil and balsamic vinegar.0

and an apple cider vingarette....yummy!0 -
My go to salad consists of:
Blue Cheese (Gorgonzola)
Dried cherries or cranberries
Pears
Sunflower seeds or pecans
Red onions
Raspberry Vinaigrette
A little bit of honey
Any greens work, but I always love spinach0 -
