  • You can visit www.mybodygallery.com and actually input a height/size/weight/body shape to see what other people look like compared to you. I love it!
  • I think you look absolutely as you are now. I prefer a softer look on a woman though as to very toned.
  • In my Facebook groups, I’ve seen a lot of women get pregnant after surgery. There are groups on Facebook just for women who get pregnant after surgery which you might check out.
  • You can copy the recipe by selecting the recipe option and then selecting from a website. You just enter the website address, and it should automatically add the ingredients and calculate it. It’s been pretty accurate whenever I’ve used this option. There’s just been one or two times I’ve had to adjust something or the…
  • Homemade hamburgers with pb2. It’s delicious.

  • If you don’t mind, can I ask why no dairy? Coconut oil, coconut milk (this is the only thing I can think of to add creaminess so I’d add it and coconut oil in every flavor combo), almond milk, sugar free coffee syrups, and sugar free chocolate sauce. Almond Joy Coconut oil, sugar free chocolate syrup, and sugar free almond…
  • Steak or chicken in creamy parmesan sauce with spinach, carmalized onions, and mushrooms. Cook steak or chicken as normal (I cook it with minced garlic) Sauté mushroom and onions in butter. Warm heavy cream in a skillet, and stir in parmesan cheese until thoroughly incorporated. Add meat and all vegetables into the cream.…
  • G Hughes sugar free bbq sauce. While at Walmart, I picked up the first sugar free bbq sauce I saw which happened to be this. It’s amazing. I hate artificial sweetener tastes so I was impressed by this sauce. If I didn’t know better, I never would have guessed it was sugar free! It’s 10 calories for 3 tbsp vs. 50 calories…
  • Increasing your fat intake will be fine, but what is your overall goal?
  • Cook your foods with healthy fats like coconut oil and olive oil. I use a scoop of protein powder and a tablespoon of coconut oil in my coffee. The oil in my coffee was something I had to get used to, but now I love it. Make your own salad dressings with olive oil. Steak with cheese sauce. Drissle with olive oil and your…
  • Add a scoop of pb2. One of my favorite combinations is coconut with chocolate. Add coconut milk to the chocolate protein powder. If you use Pinterest, there are a million recipes that use protein powders for ice cream, brownies, muffins, cakes, pancakes, and pudding—basically anything it seems.
  • I’m another fan of protein powder. I just used nectars chocolate truffle powder in my coffee this morning and was pleasantly surprised with how yummy it was. My sister also buys bottles of protein shakes and just adds shots of espresso to it.

  • I was using measuring spoons/cups, but I just got a scale so I can start weighing everything. I’ll see if this makes a difference. It’s so frustrating to put in all that work for no results.
  • Thanks! I am going to give it 2 more months with extremely strict weighing of foods before I throw in the towel. I read 5% of women experience weight gain, and I’m really hoping I’m not one of those because I love it. But I’ve never had issues with losing weight when working out and calorie counting before. Could pregnancy…
  • This! I buy two rolls of turkey sausage and 1 roll of pork sausage, and then mix them by smoosh them all together before cooking. It actually still tastes like pork sausage although it’s is much lower in calories.
  • I always scrape off the cream and just eat the chocolate cookie part.
  • Did you mix up your own icing or did you use store bought?
  • I would still count calories. Some people just naturally decrease their calorie intake because fat is highly satisfying, but it’s still possible to eat more calories than needed which can sabotage you if you don’t know what you are putting in your mouth.
  • It definitely wasn’t low calorie at all! I’m going to keep tweaking it though to make it lower calorie so it doesn’t have to be an occasional thing for me. I remade it yesterday and cut the cheeses and cream in half and added a head of puréed cauliflower instead. It added healthy bulk to the sauce and tasted pretty good as…
  • I love carrot cake. I bookmarked this for later as I definitely want to try this!
  • This morning I had a scrambled egg and sausage in a low carb/calorie wrap with cheese. Coffee with whipping cream and coconut oil. I buy 2 packets of turkey sausage and 1 packet of pork sausage and smoosh it all together, and then cook it before portioning it out into individual servings. It lights it up considerably while…
  • I’m still struggling to lose the weight from my pregnancy so it would be nice to have people to share the journey with to try and keep us motivated. I lost around 75lbs from the end of 2012 to the begining of 2014, but a lot has come back on. I had a completely miserable pregnancy where I so much pain I could barely walk…
  • Will that help make it translucent or give the watercolor affect? I do have a sprayer so that could be an option.
  • I kind of like the finish of darker/lighter spots and colors not being even, but the translucent part was where my mind went with spray paint as well when I was trying to find the easiest way to do it. I was thinking I’ll try spraying painting it in spots and then spraying over it with a water bottle and hopefully the…
  • Everyone is different, but most people don’t have to go super low carb to get the benefits of a LCHF diet. As far as fruit goes, berries are your safest choices. There’s about 3-4 grams of carbs in a half cup of raspberries, strawberries, or blackberries. When I want fruit, I usually get a bag of frozen berries with…
  • Agreed! I used to only count calories, and I was hungry all the time. I either binge ate because at the end of the day I felt like I was starving, or I just stayed miserable to keep my calories within my limits. Either way, it wasn’t a good fit for me. LCHF has worked for me, and I’m no longer not miserable.
  • I felt like I was starving no matter how many vegetables I ate the entire time I only counted calories which lead to binge eating. Breads, rice, and pastas were not keeping me full although they were contributing a lot to my calorie count. I’m not exactly keto but I do try to limit carbs and eat a lot of fat. It’s hard to…
  • I’ve been using spray paint for a lot of things as well. I guess I’ll try this first and see if I can get that watercolor effect somehow.
