True, my tummy was the last too go, still have a bit left that is stubborn, but it does go eventually. Don't give up.

I started out by just walking (arthritis) - anywhere, as much as I could, in good weather long ones outside, in bad on the treadmill etc with my music. Once I started getting more energy I added other exercises, now I can't live without working out - I get too antsy!!!!
-
When I am not able to go at lunch I add mornings some times too. It really helps pump you up for the rest of the day.
-
ABSOLUTELY - I do the turkey/stuffing, potatoes, gravey, cranberries and pumpkin pies, the girls bring the rest. The GUYS clean the pans, the rest of the famdamily help with dishes/

cranberries and veggie trays OH YEA don't forget the candied sweet potatoes (but only eat a little of those) Happy Thanksgiving AND great job taking on the meal, I pray for the day one of my girls has a big enough house to host the dinner. lol

I suggest you confirm your activity level and other data just to be sure, but 1500 may work for you. Give it a few weeks, if you are not happy with results, manually change your goal settings.

Sorry, can't help you here, we go all out at Thanksgiving, use real butter, real whipped cream, lard in the pie crusts etc (we eat healthy the rest of the time). PORTION CONTROL is how I deal with it. Have a Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

I would too - but I still have a bit of belly (that I earned). LOL

It takes all kinds of folks - I work out over lunch, so my makeup etc is intact when I start (what little I wear) and I re-fresh when leaving. I don't sweat a lot, unless it is really hot, I monitor my heart rate and times faithfully. I know sometimes folks look at me a bit weird if I still have on some of my jewelry. But…

I say use the site/plan as intended. If you under eat you will sabotage yourself.

My 80's were a whirlwind of raising 3 girls - liked a lot of the music, and had big hair. I was a yuppie super mom! They really went by fast! signed retired hippy chick. :flowerforyou:

The last few pounds are hard, your body is working more efficiently so just hang in there. Keep it .5 lbs a week or less, mix up you routine, zig zag calories, try a few things differently. Good luck, you can do this.

We used to have a high sulfa content in the water when I was a kid, leaving it out worked for that too.
-
GREAT for you and your wife Keep up the good work work.:drinker:

I am curious too, what is it about water that bothers you. Surely we can find some way to make it palatable for you.

Wowzers, I forgot how tiring it can be. Not sure I can help much, I am getting too close to retirement age to worry about it any more. I finally learned (about the time my youngest was 11) that being superwoman and having an awesome looking house on top of work, school, and kids was just not worth it. Took me a while to…

Awakened one night by a ruckus. My dear one was outside the bedroom door in the hallway in his 'skivies' with a fire place shovel and work gloves. Imagine the shock. He was chasing a bat the cat brought in the house - he managed to 'bean' it with the shovel and get it back outside where it regained its senses and flew off.…

I have belonged to my local Anytime Fitness for 2 1/2 years. Qualifying my opinion - I live in a fairly small town in SD and don't have to deal too much with Gym Rats at this particular facility on a regular basis. I get my money's worth, but joined with 18 mo membership on a corporate discount. The employees are friendly…

I may be smug, but I prefer 'hubby' over 'old man' and 'DH', in real life I call him honey, but he knows I call him hubby sometimes.
