Don't want to get into politics but we have elected an illegitimate black man as president. I think America has come a long way (regardless of his performance) lol.

hmm Interesting thread. Married to my guy coming up on 30 years in 2012. 2nd Marriage for us both. I figure a person can be happy with their life no matter what their status and if that means they are smug? Oh well, life changes all the time, marriage is hard work, have been happy, un happy, and just ok in both situations…

Have been in tornados (lost home), earthquakes (relatively small), been rescued by boat in floods (from 2nd flr apt), and lived through plenty of blizzards. Have not experienced a hurricane, but would rather not live in tornado alley again (I was raised there).

I am not your age, but here are some tips to help 1) Keep doing core strengthing exercises (not just stomach crunches) 2) Keep your skin well hydrated with your favorite lotions/creams 3) Re assess after your weight has been stable for at least a year. 4) After all the above, consider tummy tuck (but not before).…

Do you have a nice pad to lay on? I did not like the thin ones at the stores so made my own out of egg carton foam. Reverse sit ups might help too, lay on your back and lift up legs hips.

If you don't have a lot of weight to lose it makes sense for you. I don't worry as much about it now as I did when I was working at dropping the lbs regularly. PS: I do make it point to eat less on the days I don't work out

Holidays are big in my family. I just do the best I can with portion control. I then try and be extra cautious a few days before and after. I know I will not succeed trying to make big changes. Besides, Christmas and Thanksgiving are the times I make awesome dishes for the family and I am not going to scrimp on what I am…

Schedule 3 snacks a day with your 3 meals. Make them healthy and part of your planned caloric intake.

I just checked the last week of your diary 1) Are you drinking plenty of water? 2) You tend to stay under - maybe try some zig zagging not enough some days and more some days (but try to always eat at least 1200 cals) 3) Mix up your exercise routine These are the things that worked for me when I would get 'stuck'

Weight watchers is one of the most successful programs out there, but for me it was too much to track conversions, group mtngs, cost etc. I joined this site, spent a lot of time reading up on nutrition, lowered the carbs and fat some along with the exercise. I got the best results in 20 years of trying various methods.…

I had full body scan done at my health clinic in May with a follow up scheduled for December. The print out with data was quite informative and it was reasonably priced! Had my results right away.

I did saline under muscle. Hubby happy for size and we wanted the fewest chemicals in my body (high cancer risk in my family). They are still fairly firm and are gradually softening.

Had mine done August 31 (to re-fill all that was lost). No arm use first week at all, no weights on arms for about 4 to 6 weeks. Start lightly on on the weights (I went back to starting with 5 lbs and have worked back up to 10lb). If you over do you can cause problems that would require replacement. I had one settle in…

Have you seen dr. about your symptoms?

Be sure to accomodate your caloric intake on the days you don't work out. Maintenance to me is harder than losing. Good luck.
