Thanks for posting!

I'm not in that situation exactly, but I'm hoping to get pregnant early next year and have been wondering the same thing. Thanks for asking!

We went to Boston last winter and had a blast! You should really check out the freedom walking trail, it's a self-guided tour that takes you through all the historic sites--courthouse, museums, cemeteries where some of the most important players are buried. You even get to tour Paul Revere's house. It was really cool.…

Hahaha this made me laugh so hard! The second pic was not quite what I expected!

It's very versatile and cooks similar to rice. I have a crock pot of quinoa breakfast cereal (with nuts and dried fruit) cooking right now but it's a new recipe so I can't say how it will turn out. I love to make a dish with it, mixinglack with black beans and corn, cilantro and seasonings. I'll be interested to read what…

Just a suggestion, but maybe you are looking in the wrong places? I would assume that guys in bars or clubs (I don't know where you are getting this done to you, so sorry if I'm assuming wrong) are probably less concerned with a sweet personality and more concerned with body image because they are looking for a lay--what…

A little honey, blueberries and slivered almonds...yum!

Way to go! You look awesome and the smile on your face in the second pic shows how much better you feel!

Ditto to everything everyone has already said, and although I'm not there yet, this might be the place where you want to get more of your calories from protien instead of carbs and (I haven't looked for your diary so I'm not sure if you're already doing this) to build a leaner muscle mass.

I usually go over on sugar, too, but for my own diet I consider a difference between fruit sugars and the kind of sugar I'd get from a candy bar. If it's natural sugars, I don't worry too much if I'm over. Like another poster said, I focus mostly on calories.

I've done this a couple of times, but the only time it really worked was my wedding dress lol! They wanted me to order it in a size 14, I had them order it in a size 12 and in the end I had to get it altered to a size 8. Once the weight came back I tried it again with a really cute VS bikini and it's still sitting in a…

Good for you! What difference!

Not sure if you pay attention to Bethenny and her Skinny Girl books, but she has a rule that the first few bites/drinks of something taste the best and once it stops tasting good, stop wasting your calories on it. Not the diet pepsi has any calories to waste, but you're prcticing that principle lol!

That's what I WAs going to recommend also! I love that stuff! Thanks everyone for the info about it actually having calories. I will have to take it into account, but I still feel like I'm saving calories than If I used the real thing.

I think there is quite a bit of research saying that it will give you more energy and even may boost your metabolism. I've been taking a B Complex vitamin, but I haven't taken it very long and I take it in the morning so I couldn't really tell you if I get the jumpstart from it or my two cups of coffee!

I think it's personal preference and I'm certainly not trying to 'mask' anything when I wear makeup lol! You are talking about how we are naturally made, but historically and through an evolution standpoint, men chose signs of youth and good genes (wide eyes, clear skin) and ovulation (flushed cheeks) to procreate with.…

Yep! When I started I was unbelievably hungry for about a month while my body got used to the changes. I don't know how long you've been using MFP, but it could just be an adjustment period as long as you're sure you are eating enough to start with. Some tricks that helped me were eating my breakfast later so there wasn't…

I posted about this about a week ago...I had been putting off trying the next size down forever and when I finally held my breath and did it I was actually down two sizes! I have also lost 51 lbs...I say go for it! You deserve a reward for all your hard work!

Like!

I'm not sure it's a diet or exercise issue...i think that's why lots of women are opting to get tummy tucks when theyre done having kids...I had a lot of people tell me it takes about a year for your body to go back to normal but mine still hasn't. I'd be curious to see if anyone has other answers!
-
Haha you haven't met her :)

I can't watch any cooking shows anymore...however this morning while flipping through channels I saw a show called 'Donut Paradise'. I didn't watch it but I can assume it would be pretty detrimental!

I wish I had better advice, but you truly just have to do it, make it a mindset and a lifestyle! You have to know yourself...some people are going to do better with small, gradual changes and some do better overhauling everything and changing all at once. Maybe open your diary so we can see the foods you're eating and…

Visiting my Mother-in-Law...gag
-
That's what I'd do too...I know from experience that if I deprive myself of something I really wanted, I think about it all day and I run the risk of letting loose and eating everything in sight later... It's all about knowing yourself, I guess!
-
Good luck! That's such an exciting thing! Congrats!

Feel free to add me! I was a bridesmaid in two weddings this summer and one of those weddings had a Vegas bachelorettenparty! I know the pressure not to be the big bridesmaid lol! That was one of the big factors that got me on MFP at the beginning of the year!
-
Way to go, you look great! Halfway there is such a great point because, although you still might want to lose more, you are seeing that it's possible!!
-
Adding you!

This sounded so good I had to turn it into a grilled sandwich and eat it for breakfast! Yum! Thanks for the idea!
