I use Champion Low Sugar Whey. It's 125 cal/scoop but has 26 g protein and only 1 g of sugar. And it tastes good (I use vanilla).

Wow! It's a hot mess up in here! I have been thinking about this for months but didn't want to stir the pot. But... I will just add that from a medical (and even common sense) standpoint, 1200 is not the magic number for all of us. I have checked on other sites for my build and it has suggested 1000 cal/day for a one pound…

I think we all want to know the answer to this one. I'm having the same trouble. Try to pay attention to what you eat around that time (I have noticed increased bloating after eating some starches) or you may be ovulating. That puts 8 lbs on me in two days! I just got an app (free) called "Period Tracker Lite" for my…

I'm doing the same thing! No booze for the rest of July. I started Sunday and am looking forward to the difference it will make in boosting my weight loss.

I love fresh strawberries with a little Hershey's Lite syrup drizzled over them. Yum!

I had a partial hysterectomy last year (at age 32) and it was the best thing I've ever done! They left my ovaries so no hot flashes for me. Fibroids usually respond well to uterine artery embolization. It's often a permanent solution and minimally invasive. (I'm a nurse PLUS female-problem-sufferer!) Good luck.

I love The Laughing Cow cheese wedges. I think they are all only 35 calories, and great w veggies.

I have the BMR+ app on my iPhone and it gives a different one as well. In the info section it gives the names of the formulas that are used. It also gives TDEE, BMR, etc. A well spent buck.

Yum! I can't wait to try this!

I'm not strict about it, but I do what I can. For example, I grow (and share!) my own veggies in the summer, but all bets are off in the winter. My local store doesn't carry much organics so I do the best I can depending on where I'm shopping and my budget that month.

I wish! Sounds a little high to me. I swam 60 minutes yesterday and it gave me 400 cals.

I used to log it as general aerobics, but now I have a HRM. The calories burned on MFP were semi-accurate. But it's so much better with the HRM! I have the Polar F6 and I love it. It was worth every dime.

Is it lactose free?

I have the Polar F6 and I love it. I got it for $90 off of Amazon with free shipping. It has a chest strap along with the "watch" you wear. And it's PINK! :flowerforyou: Well worth it.

Vit B shots are great but not for everyone. They should only be given to someone who is actually deficient, otherwise your kidneys filter it right out as excess. It's not a magic bullet. I agree you should try a different blend/brand and Vit C supplements if you are sickly. Or better yet, eat an orange! Vit C plus fiber!

Greek yogurt is the best! It has 2-3 times the protein and lots less sugar. It's thicker than regular yogurt so that puts some people off. It's great with a little honey or jam.

I have the Polar F6 and I love it! It was about $90 on Amazon. I think all the good ones will be in that price range. As far as exercise...I bought an elliptical (on clearance at Sears) back in January and it's changed my life! I never was good at going to the gym and have wasted thousands of bucks on memberships over the…

I've seen a documentary on people who live that way as a lifestyle. This one couple was in their 80s and looked like they were 50. Whatever floats your boat...but that's not for me! I like to EAT!! :drinker:

I'm in the same boat! (Literally! I'm going on a week long cruise next week). My plan is to keep moving so I stay in the habit of exercising. As far as food goes I'm going to eat lots of veggies and try to limit the booze. Even thought I can't log in to MFP, I plan on keeping a log so I don't lose track. Good luck but most…

If you use a HRM with the chest strap the watch part doesn't really have to be on your arm. Try it on a belt loop, pocket or tie it to your draw string pants. It just has to be near the strap. Worth a try!

I used to be one of those people that was after the quick fix. I've lost 10 lbs now (15 more to go!) and this is the first time in my life I have done it the RIGHT way. No pills or fad diet....just counting calories and exercising. Unfortunately, It's taken me over 2 months to lose it, but I know I will be able to maintain…

Don't overdo it! Trust me...my family had my birthday celebration last night and I treated myself to misery! I really didn't eat that much, but since I haven't been eating sweets, a little went a long way.

I love algebra! Now why didn't I think of that? Maybe because I've been up for too long...

No. It only picks up beats per minute, it's not capable of ECG tracing.

Push ups!

Oops! Hit "reply" too soon! In all seriousness, I have the Polar F6 and I LOVE IT. And it's pink :-)
