Well for me it's because I am allergic to white potatoes but not to sweet potatoes :P but I also believe that it mostly comes down to how they are cooked and what is put on top of them.

Exactly! I can't have tomatoes or potatoes either. It's so hard! I have to say that the fruit is the most difficult to deal with though.

No, you can go up to however much you weight. Ex. if you weigh 130, you can eat 130 g of protein. That's what my personal trainer told me

This happened to me once. The same toenail on each foot came off on the same day. Very weird. I'm not sure if diet has to do with it.

I was told that it is okay if you go over the sugar recommendation on MFP (within a reasonable amount) because it doesn't consider the source. If most of y our sugar intake is coming from fruits, then it's not too bad because it's natural. However, if you're eating candy bars everyday, then that might be a problem.
