5lbs a month is great...it may not be coming off as quick as you like but thats -5lbs you lost rather than the 0 or gain that might of occured if you were not doing anything. i have been having this same problem....if you are not going super low carb then i agree on the veggie & fruit smoothie..they are very fufilling. i have justbbeen making new things with my eggs mixed with veggied or meat. and you dont always have to have breakfast food in the morning..try a steak...very common

i would love to learn more about this as well...the last time i heard anything similar was when i was on medifast...and i lost a lot of weight..if food wasnt astronaut food i would have kept it up..if its just low carbs i can deal with that

Oatmeal. 1/2 cup of Quackers is 150 cals and just leave out butter and milk etc. I like to add cinnamon and splenda to mine. once you make it you will have a pretty good sized amount and it keeps me craving free till lunch. Oatmeal Scambled egg whites Yogurt Nature valley granola bar (great for when im out all day..can find them anywhere. Mix it with yogurt and fresh fruit and it feels like a food sin..so yummy!)

I go by my target daily calories that MFP lists. I dont pay attention to the remaining just how much I uave consumed. I only pay attention to the calories burned to keep track of just that.
