If you post something..you'll get all kinds of responses not just the feel goods. And some of those will be truths you don't want to hear.

What's happening is normal and expected...adjust your thinking. You shouldn't be eating less than 1200...you should probably be eating a bit more, in fact. Weight loss isn't a linear occurance....x-y doesn't always equal z right away.

these are ok...but I add a quarter cup oats and some cinnamon. More filling, more nutrients...more yummy.
-
eat more...you didn't get fat eating 800 calories, did you? Just make some good choices. Don't eat things labeled "low fat" or "low calorie" or things like that. Eat real food, in reasonable amounts. And some calorie dense foods are good and good for you...nuts, dark chocolate.
-
depends...some days a lot , some days not so much. I tend to focus more on keeping my protein up and making sure I get fruits and vegetables...other carbs sort of fit themselves in around the edges. I know I eat a lot less bread than I used to, but probably other kinds of grain products a little more often.
-
Peanut butter is good for you...but very calorie dense. You'll be shocked how many calories are in a couple of tablspoons. Really though...there isn't any food you cant enjoy..within reason. Its all about portion control.
-
this. ultimately, it won't work. something has to give...I hope it was diet before it was her health.

Ive seen almost the opposite happen. I used to bring my greyhound to the dog park now and then when I knew it would be not so busy...his skin was so thin that he would get abrasions from just a little roughhouse with other dogs. He and a couple of other big dogs were having fun, just running around together when I guy came…

I worry about you people......not a lot....but I worry about you..... what on earth could possibly be a problem with chocolate hummus?
-
whenever you want to. theres nothing magical about having any meal at any particular time. you can even eat all your meals within an hour...if that's what you want to do and it stays within your macros. Personally, I like to have breakfast early most of the time...but that's me. YMMV.

looking knock kneed is sexy? ok...whatevs.....

Probably depends on who you are talking about, and who you are talking to. There are multitudes of reasons why people overeat...some are emotional, some are situational, some are genuinely physical...every person has their own story and all those stories are valid and true. So it could be a disease OR a symptom. OR both.…

choose different parents. why on earth is this even a priority for anyone?

Ive been going regularly to the gym and doing an elliptical and some weights for a while now. I do enjoy it,or I wouldn't have stuck with it this long. However I recently started walking at the park a couple of times a week instead...and I am surprised how much I am enjoying it! Ive even made plans to do a 5k walk in a few…

my ninja pro for smoothies my wonderful suntoku knife my perfectly seasoned cast iron skillet and most important...the coffee pot.

bumping....I bet this would be great with brats too

don't do diets. they don't work, long term. make a committment to eat in a way you can do, forever, and be happy with.
-
youre not eating enough...and I bet you're not eating back your exercize calories. but carry on.... to answer your question...I eat between 1300 and 1500 a day..PLUS exertcize calories. I eat very well.
-
unclear what your question is. if they say that you should only lose 1-2 lbs a week...for once, I go along with what THEY say. THEY aren't wrong all the time.
-
if youre looking at her breasts instead of HER and hearing what she's saying...it is not complimentary. You worked for those muscles...but is that all you want anyone to notice about you or look at when they're talking to you?
-
enjoy both...a variety of foods is better for you nutritionally and emotionally. there's no reason to eliminate anything from your diet if you enjoy it, you just need to remain aware of fitting it into your macros.
-
none of us got fat eating 1200 calories a day. didn't happen. what has changed is that people are suddenly paying attention to what amount they are eating...and that big salad looks like its filling, so they're telling themselves they're full...when last month they mindlessly ate a 3000 calorie burger meal without a second…
-
right on. you are sooooooo right.
-
do this if you want...but you don't have to. weight loss isn't linear, your weight will bounce all over . Perfectly normal. Just look at this as a marathon, not a sprint. Keep going, keep doing what you need to do...you'll get there.
-
yes. this is how MFP works. Read the pinned notes about this, it makes perfect sense. If you're only giving your body 800 calories to live on, you not only won't lose weight the way you want, you're risking hurting yourself.
-
exercise is good, but calorie deficit is how you lose weight. You have to eat enough for nutrition, but not too much. Exercise can help you burn some calories, and will help change how your body looks...but your food intake is where weight loss happens.
-
agree, whatever fits your goals. I find that a half cup of dried oats, cooked, is plenty for a good breakfast, and usually have some fruit with that.
-
they are very good for you...but fairly calorie dense, so fit it into your macros, and enjoy!

I don't have a camera or a smartphone....so no pic. besides, if you saw me, I'd never get rid of you....
