No particular structure. Take the day as it comes.
-
WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING IN ALL YOUR MULTIPLE TOPICS???? damn, now I'm doing it too.....
-
If you log exercise it will bump it up again ....that's how this program works. And it does. Its perfectly logical and easy.
-
Nope. Calories are calories and they add up. You can get fat eating organic unicorn flatulate as fast as you can eating Cheetos.
-
Of course. So what? Tomorrow is another day.
-
This is silly. Eat at anytime you want, including IN bed if you want to. Doesn't make any difference. Unless you're prone to heartburn ...then sleep sitting up.
-
Well, if you can live with this, ok. Boring as hell...and why eat things you don't like? Life's too short to waste time on cottage cheese unless you love it...when the world is full of raspberries, canteloupe, and occasionally dark chocolate.
-
My first honest response is something along the lines of...GROW UP. Upon further thought....I was right the first time.
-
Bacon. Real bacon.
-
The best combo is one you will enjoy and stick to. Period.
-
You're going to drive yourself nuts doing that. Weigh once a week at the most! Your weight can vary wildly just over the course of a day. Don't obsess about an essentially meaningless number...go for the long term trend instead.
-
Exactly. You got it. Its not as complicated as you think it is. (Ignore the TDEE/BMR discussions, unless that's what you decide to do. Both approaches work fine...but you cant combine them)
-
MFP does NOT set "everyone at 1200" calories. That's the default minimum. Its what everyone gets set to if they tell the program an overly ambitious loss goal. If you're more sensible and realistic...you set your goal lower, get more calories...AND STILL LOSE WEIGHT. I lost all this eating well over 1600, plus exercise…
-
None. Zero. Zip. Nada . You don't need that crap. No one does.
-
I get leg cramps if I don't stay well hydrated. Easy fix...if I drink enough, no middle of the night owees.
-
Do you even MFP?
-
I use it all the time in oatmeal and in smoothies. Handy stuff!
-
Yup. May your peanut butter ever stick to the roof of your mouth.
-
I doubt cardio will make a six pack....weight training will. Cardio may help uncover it, but wont make it.
-
Don't take those things. Eat sensibly, log your food and exercise, keep being healthy a priority, but don't drive yourself crazy with it...and be patient!
-
Mines private because it is a tool for my own use, and I have more than enough trolls in my life already.
-
My daughter has that. Exfoliation and moisturizer help enormously, and for her it seems to be somewhat stress-related too.
-
Excluding fruits and veggies?... I am guessing you're eating more than you think you are.
-
This. Exactly.
-
There are no bad foods. There is only inappropriate portioning. If you're counting your calories relentlessly and accurately...you can have anything you're craving and fit it into your day. Not all of it you may want, or be used to eating...but still...you can have it. Its all in how you juggle your numbers. But you have…
-
Harsh is putting it mildly. This is starvation. Why are you punishing your body? Its the only one you get...treat her better than that'!!
-
Edited becausI hit the button too quick!
-
If you burn 500... you eat back 500. Just make sure your numbers are very accurate....MFP's exercise calories are notoriously high. Use a HRM.
-
Exactly. For something like that the calorie count is something like 5 or so....within the margin of error the government allows...so effectively, they can say its zero. Its pretty close.
-
Sounds like you needed some more protein. Easy solution! Good for you!
