But what do you do if you have IBS and are allergic to milk as well? If you can't use soy or almond, you are kind of screwed! My Mom has it really bad and I am always trying to find things she can do.

She already drinks almond milk. I was hoping to up her protein but can't find a non-dairy protein powder for her. She is also allergic to eggs. I just wondered if someone who is allergic has actually tried whey protein.

Yeah, my Mom drinks almond milk already. It has a very low amount of protein in it though. Certainly not enough for her to just drink that for a few days to get her system straightened out.

Ugh, forgot to quote. I am pretty sure she is really allergic. She gets violently sick after eating cheese and has tried lactaid milk. I just wondered if anyone has tried the whey protein and didn't have any problems. I was told the protein we have here is VERY low in whey.

If you don't want him to eat the special foods, then don't have them in the house. Take him out once in a while to get one candy bar,etc. Other than that, I would not limit his food. I think the suits are really cute, now I just wish I had the confidence to wear them! I don't have far to go but I am not comfortable showing that much skin and less weight is not going to change that. However, that is MY perception and has nothing to do with what anyone else should wear.
