I'm sober and active in recovery. Often times one get replaced with another. Here's to getting healthy in all ways B)
-
Fark no.
-
Add me, congrats on that 60!
-
You can do it. I work at home, almost 7 years, and since January I've lost 13lb, with me not being that consistent with exercise, mainly just doing CICO. That's where it is. I drink Lipton green and peach teas now instead of soda/coffee, do a high protein shake for breakfast, protein for lunch and a large dinner.
-
Great job! I crave my protein shake every day, I love the slim fast high protein/low sugar one.

I just wanted to update that 1. I weighed and measured everything yesterday and I felt that it was very doable. And 2. The scale moved for me this morning (too soon for a direct correlation, but I now know that I'm doing what I need to do, to get results. B)

Thank you all :#
-
Woohoo!
-
This part about the scale is exactly what I needed to read!
-
Ok awesome, so my 1.5 goal is spot on  thanks so much!
-
Thanks for the link!
-
Gotcha... that's what I thought.
-
Thanks! You make it sound so clean! Hahaha
-
And thank you sincerely all for your input <3
-
So even if MFP says to go under BMR, we shouldn't? I have roughly 60lb more to lose before reevaluation.
-
And I've been measuring other things, like vegetables and sides, just not weighing on the food scale. Guess I'll dial in more!
-
Stalled about 2 weeks! Honestly I don't weigh it all bc I think it would get too messy, just an excuse I realized. I'll make an effort to weigh more today  I think you're right that I'm eating more than I think, obvi... so should I adjust my goal from 1.5 to 1 lb a week? That'll put me around 1870 for the day.
-
You're just as entitled to be there, as anyone else is.
-
Will have 2 years on 4/23.. we got this!
-
You rock!
-
Classic self sabotage... often times we have a fear of success as well as a fear of failure. And we all gotta figure it out on our own. Get back at it, because you're worth it.
-
Nothing is wrong with the time you eat your allotted calories. I do the same thing, i love a big healthy dinner. In 42 days of logging I'm down 10.6 lb, with occasional overages and sporadic exercise.
-
No one asks but wouldn't tell if they did. I weigh every day, and log my losses, ignore the increase fluctuations :p
-
8.8, today's my 30 days
-
Sweet! I can relate to the exercise /no cravings thing..
-
That's it! Keep it up! Today is my 30 days, down 8.8 lb. Some days I went over calories, some weeks only 1x @ the gym. Life shows up, but I'm stoked about the progress!
-
Amazing story! I can relate to your volleyball story and food choices!
-
good thoughts to you. sounds like you're better off. it's a shame your children have to be involved. keep working on you, you did nothing wrong.
-
